I would have thought that since TekCapital own 100% of Guident (as far as i'm aware), TEK would have a major say in any decisions reached at Guident??
However it may well be as you see it, that it may have been agreed that Harald and his team have complete autonomy

Yes, placement behind us without being a major issue (lol) - Onwards to greater knowledge of Lucyd, BELL and Salarius statistics, hopefully giving us more on the specifics on sales and how the placing cash is used...
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Regenerative Shock Absorbers would make an exceptional 4th company (as BELL possibly becomes a memory in our portfolio) - understandable Shocks should have been placed under Guident's umbrella, but really a separate entity from the primary goal of RMCC...but TEK will have greater knowledge than I, regarding possibilities in front of us...
Personally may be getting a bit complacent re share price rising, I'm now thinking its a given - more wondering about paydays, in the form of special dividends - a little way off, I know, but TEK could become a lifetime hold if a conveyor belt can be established GLA

Yes, might be a bit early re divi, just a thought considering the stated high profit margins - but lots for AWE to consider at this early stage regarding company development..
I'm genuinely enthused about AWEs potential, hopefully not misplaced optimism, but surely a medium to long term gem

Would imagine the hyperscaler has a Non Disclosure Agreement with Samsung/AWE - would diminish the hyperscaler's achievement otherwise - so we may never know fully??

It may be too early to consider, but IF AWE are making decent profit margins, will they dividend or reinvest in research etc??

Medium to Long Term, I can't see AWE SP failing me - I'm of the opinion that market concerns will vanish on concrete financials, in due course - think there will be a dramatic SP turnaround, relatively short term

Think Barcap was referring to Directors 'silence' (with the one exception) regarding the Share Price movement - Barcap is surely aware enough that repeated mention of a sliding SP by a BOD, could be viewed a desperation on their part, and Barcap would have, no doubt, highlighted it as such, in an emotive way, if that had been the case...
AWE Board have absolutely no need to be desperate, there is in excess of £350m in the bank following IPO, and the company is making a profit (with exceptional margins) - as a shareholder, with a long term view, there may never be the need for raises from AWE, on that basis, which I like

Facts are that AWE are running at a profit, as a newly listed company this might be viewed as unusual - these profits are forecast to rise considerably in the coming years.
Also a fact that as a relatively new AWE shareholder, I might have held off purchasing a while, and would have more shares than currently holding for the same money...however I am mindful that I'm in at half IPO price and given the volatile nature of AWE SP, I could be all square in a day of positive SP movement.
SP is being manipulated currently, no small investor is making anything by selling - trying not to be 'Only Fools and Horses' about it, but 'this time next year', when all has settled down, this SP will be viewed as a steal imho

Personally don't feel too strongly either way on placing - SP dip and holding diluted obviously, however should enhance the business and may lead to better shareholder returns, through retaining more of the portfolio companies than may have been the case otherwise...

I'm in AWE for the long term - I'm mindful that the IPO was relatively recently and that all the Institutionals/Major Holders would have done their homework before committing at that time - feel SP will come good, given time and current negativity will pass on concrete results to come...

Responding to your post at 16.07 yesterday, regarding a paragraph from the FT, here's my take on it...

Alphawave won a contract with CPP worth $190m over 5 years to AWE - AWE decided this is a good route into the Chinese market and decided to invest $170m in CPP, therefore now owning a proportion of the Chinese firm - AWE will now receive monies for services provided to CPP and a measure of profits CPP make as AWE now own a share of CPP (Win,Win right??). Wise Road Capital also see the potential in CPP and invested $230m in them - this surely validates AWEs decision to do so, as Wise Road also think there are profits to be made...
