Noticed the above RNS (with possible ref to tie up with Shell) was posted Monday July 1st. Maybe the start of the week is the preferred announcement time for the big players. Here’s hoping.

The market is a rollercoaster. Some you win some you loose in am a long term holder in another Nigerian based oiler. Been through loads of squeaky ars- moments but they always deliver. The basic question is do I believe LEK in the same way. The answer is yes. The daily movements in the SP matter. But it’s all about the fundamentals which are brilliant. Loads of investors in for the quick buck and good luck to them. But I see a great profit in this share. Great news soon so I am holding. Encouraged during the last couple of days by the bid price holding steady despite the disproportionate number of sells (although small). Blimey it’s held onto its gains - great news.

We have some decent gains over the last few weeks. Holding on nicely in the 6p area. Hopefully not too long to wait for the next batch of positive news.

Just seen a pertinent post on the PMO site. Didn’t think of it myself but why don’t the Saudis bull this one up. Tell the market it will take months and months to repair. Boom goes the oil price.

By the sounds of it no one was killed (hopefully no injuries either). Other than that brilliant news. Maybe just maybe Nigeria isn’t so unstable after all.

Will the Saudis retaliate. Iranian oil facilities??

Only got a small holding in PMO great fundamentals but too many traders to risk my shirt. POO is gonna sky rocket now. Good luck and well done to all the long term holders.

LEK has had a respectable week. Held onto the gains from the last 3 Fridays positive RNS bulletins. Consolidation is the name of the game until we get confirmation of the major joining us. Very excited.

Totally agree Score from the North East originally. Holiday after holiday there. Love the place but sometimes a change does the soul good. Take care.

I think I can see a holiday on the horizon if tomorrow is a fantastic Friday. If not are well there’s always South Shields again. A bit cold but lovely beach and friendly locals. Nice fish and chips as well.

Thanks Score this seems to happen on a regular basis. Another one of my holdings is involved in a buy back programme and at close of each trading day they publish their buys. On a regular basis they appear as sells. Not sure if it is deliberate or if it happens the other way.

Very quiet on this board these days being an old git remember there loads of chat on this board back in the day lol. Held ELA for over three years admittedly there have been few bumps along the way but it has always delivered. Back in the day ELA even had to do a placement to fund Opuama drilling campaign. Look at us now Op exploited and we have moved on to Gb. Company investing in a new pipeline to service Gb. Fortunately unlike the early days less worries was trouble in the Delta. As promised they have rewarded investors (in a prudent way) with a dividend . Looking forward to Amoebe exploration well and future drilling prospects within their license. To investors history suggests this share in never gonna deliver quick rewards. Everyone knows share trading can be risky (and I am into a few) particularly on the casino AIM. However ELA is as safe as it gets. Keep up the good work George Maxwell. Roll on Gb5 results.

A decent buy at close. Nice to finish with a blue. Steady as she goes.

Oil stock rising nicely, oil price up, on l2 all mm offering from 7.50p to 9.60p, only 25k shares available at 6.92 then 7.48 and all 7.50p but we know news commin, I think we may get some rush of buys at 7.50p, let's see
