From Mike Wainwright earlier this morning : "Waiting on the funds to report their ArgoBlockchain buys which are slowly coming in. Will do a full update at the end of the week. Well over 7m shares bought by II last week less than 10% reported so far."

Think it's probably this that is kicking things off : meeting called yesterday by all the American miners with Elon Musk present .

This is a really good read on Bitcoin's dirty energy problem. Personally l think it's a good thing that the sector is being taken to account for its energy consumption and over reliance on fossil fuels as it clearly causes such huge environmental damage . And of course that will favour ARB, as well as some other crypto such as Cardano, Stellar and Ethereum 2.0 that do not rely on proof of work mining (or 'proof of waste' as Gavin Wood, ETH's co-founder, calls it) . Environmental concerns will surely increasingly favour proof of stake crypto, as they really can be sustainable, so hopefully ARB will continue to diversify and continue to take the lead in that sector as well.
That's my NASDAQ prediction day (just because it's my birthday) so l'll definitely bear witness, though l'm not sure we should be encouraging betting on such a reputable platform as this !
over here .... successfully managed to switch off for most of the past 24 hours, before revisiting for a quick top up here and also some more BTC and ETH thanks ! time to switch off again.
l know somebody posted about this earlier, but l only watched it just now : Blonity explaining the market manipulation of the Wyckoff Distribution Effect that might be hitting BTC for a while yet.

He's a voice that l trust, really recommend watching, as it might just help get everything in perspective. If he's right, then it's going to get worse before it gets better, so l'm going to try and switch off from any emotional attachment to daily SP expectations and look forward to June or July or August or whenever the bull run sets back in.
Good point ..... and l happen to have some cash ready and waiting in my HL account.
Judging by the Frankfurt opening, there'll probably be some short term carnage today, but in the medium term it should hopefully position ARB much more strongly as a miner with genuine environmental credentials. If anything this improves ARB's prospects in the mid to long term, which is all l'm really interested in (in spite of the daily pain !).
As long as Deej doesn't mind please could l have 21st June, just because it's my birthday.
But hopefully we'll be done by then anyway, so won't have to accept any free grammar lessons :)
@.zstarz "One thing is certain, BTC is now the reserve currency of the crypto eco system and as such the one getting adopted by mainstream institutions. It’s very encouraging that large amounts have recently been taken off exchanges as having it as a store of value will ensure increased upward price pressure."
l think that's a really good perspective in relation to all of the fast moving AltCoin space (which let's be honest is really tempting at the moment). And just while l'm here, don't know if people have noticed KR1 has gone up about 50% this week, after a couple of months in the doldrums. When it goes, it goes : just a matter of time for ARB.
Sorry Poulan, l really try and refrain from making personal comments on boards like this, but l thought your comment belittling somebody else's financial situation was really out of order. Investing should be open to everyone, wherever they are on the financial scale and you'd hope that a board like this would welcome people from every walk of life.
It's possible but Zorro getting over excited on Twitter is not such a good sign.
