What people seem to be forgetting is that AFC already have a stack that works for over 2 years and produces electricity of at the very most 10 US Cents per KW. And that was info from 6 months ago. Since then they've been 'invited' into the Hydrogen Council.
Also during that time the IPCC has said the whole world needs to change its energy production otherwise life on earth including everybody's children grand children are going to have an horrendous existence or non-existence. Since the first Southern Oil RNS and up until a couple of days ago, on a rough count, there seemed to have been about ten million more shares bought from the MMs than had been sold to them. I was getting the feeling that someone was printing them in their garden shed!
Perhaps the MMs have been selling shares they don't own? Or someone has wanted the sp down so that they can get a percentage of the company?
Hi BB, Unfortunately they don't because I presume it's not economic to produce in small quantities, otherwise Drax would be taking it already. To produce biomass in sufficient quantities any company using biomass needs large areas like US forests which they can just level cheaply. It doesn't stop them green washing what they are doing as sustainable because unless there are laws to stop them they'll just keep cutting and take the lot.
novapangea imho is spouting a load of pr flimflam; "sustainably produced plantation biomass" Using Biomass as a sourc in large quantities is not sustainable.
And they are going to take offcuts from forestry? It just doesn't happen.

I think they are PEM fuel cells as well which means they are likely to use platinum as a catalyst and as a senior scientist said a little time ago, there's not enough platinum in the world to supply the numbers of fuel cells that are needed, or words to that effect.
If I've navigated this right de Nora appear to be doing the Tuesday opening session;
