At $60 oil, we were at 20p and at $90 oil we are still at 20p. How can the increase in oil price be ignored?

It depends on how the money is raised via US listing. What is the point of US listing as the alternative finance options if raising money through US listing is going to dilute the UK share price?
I know a company that has dual listing but raised money only on one exchange in the form of rights. I will check the company and get back.

There will be no dilution to UK shares with US listing. The amount that they raise via US listing helps them pay off some debt. Only trouble could be UK share price might become stagnant as investors might be more interested in buying US shares than UK shares. Considering Mooky has large holding in UK shares so we have to see how Mooky is going to own US shares. Do not think existing investors would agree for freebie Us shares to Mooky. May be all UK investors would be given an offer to own free US shares depending on existing UK shares. Either way confirmation of US listing news is going to spike our share price. Interns of the cost for US listing, it is easy as Mooky would sell post of his shares like he did in 2020 to fund the business due to covid.

Previous RNS about ESG committee indicate that US listing is happening and I see another RNS that mentioned about US listing as the alternative finance options.
News will land at some point and am betting on a spike and good turnaround for the share price upwards from the current levels. Build it and they will come. GLA

Enq is ridiculously cheap. FCF higher than its mcap and we are at 21p. If this was a US company, SP would have been with an additional zero at the end!

I think some private investment firm could big for ENQ at some point if oil is to avg $80 this year.

Not sure what bad news is coning that people are thinking about. The next biggest news is US listing. This may come before Mar results or on same day as Mar results. All big institutions still holding. More importantly, Mooky has the biggest holding. He is doing interviews means that he is optimistic of the CINE future. He is able to negotiate with Regal shareholders and is negotiating with lenders. With big lineup of movies this year, there should not be any problem with the liquidity this year. To me I think there is a big reward to earn if you build your stake. Until March results, 35-40p rinse and repeat. Should be a good day today. GLA

Sorry but I do not understand the strategy of some of those invested here who say talking facts is not deramping! Fact is a fact but why do you want to post continuously about negatives if you are invested? Institutions are not buying so we need atleast retail investors to buy CINE so only positive posts please :-)

The longer the litigation goes the lesser the amount that CW would pay as CP would also sit for negotiation. That is why FT article mentions that litigation is not a major concern. Good box office recovery is all that is needed for this year.

Surprised this is ending 1% down! It is almost as if the traders are following this share chat. The board mood was good in the morning with the FT article and now the excitement is gone.

Streaming news once killed off the share price and now investors are moving away from streaming companies so that money should come back into cinema chains.
Studios make big money and quick money from theatrical releases.

I would think it should be in the similar MCap as Cinemark.
What I do not know is if it is valued at $2bn then how much would be raised as part of the listing to pay off debt?

This year big blockbuster movies all on Theatrical releases! Lenders can see the money cinema chains make from the big releases like Spiderman. There are more to come this year!

Thank you very much Shazabo for sharing the article. It looks like the threat of CP damages is much less than any of us were anticipating. Lenders seem to be supportive of CINE. CW walking tight on a very thin rope. Y'day RNS was to increase the liquidity position so that CINE doesn't go back to lenders for more money. Spiderman movie was the life saver for CINE. If Batman movie can make money like Spiderman then I think threat of bankruptcy can be put to bed forever.

AMC results indicate the improving market conditions for the industry so we can expect improved situation for CINE when results are out. The headline results would be something like - CW narrowed the losses and sees recovery to pre-pandemic this year.

Any news on US listing in the same update would be a bonus. Like many I expect SP to move upwards as we get close to the results.
Next headwind coning up is the BoE rate decision. FTSE will start to move up after the rate decision. GL

I don't think any payment is going to be made anytime this year. This will drag on and on.
If CW need to pay then they can pay in installments. CW did the same for Regal Shareholders. CW withheld some amount.

To me the biggest plus point is that institutions are holding. There was not a single reduced holding from the big insitutions despite the judgement! It clearly shows that institutions might have been convinced by Mooky about the way forward?
US listing is one way? or the only way doesn't matter. We have a big year with blockbuster movies.

Many court cases involving huge damages claim have not resolved for many years. I expect the same to happen with CINE vs CP. Even if CW appeal is dismissed, which I think will take many months, CW will not pay. Recently, Indian airlines owned by Indian govt has a case against Canadian investors where judgement was in favour of Canadian investors but Indian airlines have not agreed to pay to single penny. Now those Canadian investors are just getting money that Indian airlines make in Canada. Search in Google for more details.

I expect even CINE will not pay a single penny for many years to come.

Bloody hell, taken this down to 111.52 and closed at 113! I thought after FED news, there will not be any other news to panic so bought at 118p on Wednesday before close . Thursday opened at 117p and Friday even worse. Of course 118p and above will be seen but my attempt to catch the bottom utterly failed! May be should have sold for a small loss at 117p on Thursday morning, which was the plan but it drifted quite quickly to 115p. Few hundreds loss is not much but annoyed that this went down far too low yesterday. I was busy at work on Friday otherwise would have topped up at 112p.

DOW up on Friday close so RR should open up at 115p. There could be a slight chance to catch 114p. Thinking to do another top up of £10k if I can get 114p and will sell the tranche that I bought at 118p when this hits 120p+ or may well ride with full amount.

Before then there is one more hurdle to cross which is BoE rate decision.
We could see move up before that.
DOW up 500 points so am guessing tomorrow open would be higher than today's open!
Could go up tomorrow and rise to 120 next week.

ENQ calendar shows Feb 2022 but it doesn't say exact date in Feb.

Expecting ENQ to touch 23p by tomorrow.
Next overreaction news is coming in 2 weeks time for BoE rate rise decision!
