the new billionaire investor can easily take this private. With current mcap around 100m, he could throw an offer of 500M(13p) to take the company private. Also he is one of the major shareholder in a major bank in Moscow so funding the takeover deal should not be a big issue. But do we have enough share holders to stop the takeover! If Everest thinks that sanctions are tightening the noose then they may vote for it! Considering Alixpartners being involved for debt restructuring, I think it is not company's intention to approve any takeover?

Before the invasion, I was thinking that price was sinking because Strukhov wanted to do a takeover for cheap but whatever his plans were, Putin had thrown the spanner in his wheels and he sold his entire stock to my surprise! The war in a way is favourable to POG shareholders because we bow have the opportunity to grab the shares cheap like the new billionaire investor!

I also had a concern with the dual listing thinking that Strukhov might plan to have shares traded only in Moscow and not in UK! But now his threat is gone and hopefully the new billionaire investor ensures that market recognize the true potential of POG!

I'm still wee bit concerned about involvement of Alix Partners but let's see what POG comes back with next week.

Some lot here disagreed with me when I said Mr. Z is the puppet of Americans. Even the author in that article shares same opinion as me -

Z is no doubt the comedian for US. He pretends to be unconscious of aggrevating the war with Russia and issue statements like Ukraine sent Russia back and not Russia backed on their own! He wants more military aid to continue the war but cries that his cities are damaged and people are becoming homeless. He doesn't want to do any peace deal with Putin because US told him to not do a peace deal.

Anyways forget about the idiot Z, we need our joker Bojo to remove sanctions on GPB and he may even get pressure from EU to remove sanctions on GPB atleast as EU need GPB for gas imports. If EU now understands how to pay in Rubles for gas imports then certainly I expect EU to request UK and US to remove sanctions on GPB.

Guess what? If sanctions are removed on GPB then POG is back to its BAU so I expect there will be some delay in finalising discussions with Alix Partners! We may not get our eagerly awaited RNS early next week but the above should assure POG investors that nothing is lost. It is just a delay of things to get back to normal.

there are many avenues for POG to sort out the sales of POG's bullion output. Russian investors in POG are holding strong and the price is still at 12 RUB despite the short selling back on in Russia index.

Once the RNS lands next week, another 100% jump on LSE would be nice. On Russian index, the price is more than 50% than pre-war. We have lot of catching up to do.

I will repeat again - if you are being invaded by Iran or Afghanistan then you fight with tooth and nail but majority of the population is Russian descendant and Russia still says Ukraine can join EU and their key demands are not extra ordinary like the Russian language. If you ask Ukraine to have Arabic as their main language then you oppose but what is wrong with Russian language? Z should have realised that he cannot fight against Russia so he needs to find a way to compromise instead of raging war but at the same time crying that his cities are destructed. He has fought for 2 weeks and he has seen the damage happening in Ukraine so why not compromise. Instead he is now striking Russia with the help of US. No doubt US will ensure that Ukraine and all other USSR countries will turn like Iraq and Iran.

Russian Defence minister said they have no issues with Ukraine joining EU. Russia need one region and but idiot Z is unnecessarily escalating it. He now moved from his leather chair to the streets to give his speeches and pleas to the world.

Anyways peace talks to resume today as per Bloomberg. Today's peace talks will prove that Mr. Z is the one escalating the tensions and not Putin but of course stupid media from the West will potray that Mr. Z is all innocent.

DShox is also dismissing the Motley Fool's delist scenario. Like I said it is business as usual for POG. Deal will be reached at some point before the full year results, which are due now in 3 weeks. They changed the date last week from 13th April to 19th April. These little information is also important for me as it confirms that POG is running the business as normal. POG and GPB will exploit the loopholes in these sanctions and will make an arrangement and that is why POG is still in talks with GPB as per yday's RNS.

POLY just said "new counterparties" and "retail demand" for the sales. They didn't mention who the third party is. They also cited retail demand. I expect similar type of RNS from POG when the arragement is agreed with GPB. GLA.

The key bit important for POG in the above article is this -

"Gazprombank can open such accounts without a presence of a foreign buyer's representative."

So POG can open a special account with GPB and noone knows whether that account is for gas or for gold!
Of course POG needs to RNS and they would just RNS in same way like POLY to say that POG has found a counterparty that is not sanctioned. Just like how many evade tax legally in UK by opening multiple companies and trusts!

POG that is why said that it is still working with GPB to restructure the debt. GPB would already have setup a subsidiary bank(s) which are not sanctioned(who is going to Russia to verify the subsidiary?) and POG will just pay into that subsidiary bank! POG will just RNS that they found a counter party just like how POLY announced yesterday.

Gazprombank will then convert this into roubles which will then be used to make the payment for gas.

...the market reaction suggests the details of the mechanism mean that, in practice, European customers will just have to change their currency dealers to Gazprombank. That bank has already been left unsanctioned, for the purpose of continuity of energy trade.
