The billionaire investor that owns 29% stock is not a creditor I guess. There was only one RNS about his holdings company stating his 29% stake which he bought from Strukhov.
GPB is the main creditor who takes/buys 100% of gold output from POG. There will be an arrangement made to buy the gold from POG.

Once the peace talks conclude between Mr. Z and Mr. P, POG will rise back to previous highs.

After all the new billionaire investor has to make money from his 29% share holdings in POG. With Putin damaging the wealth of the billionaires, can't see that the new billioniare will let the company go down. He got it for cheap from Strukhov. If the sanctions are removed as mentioned by Liz once Putin withdraws troops, POG and POLY will fly IMO.

Many bought GGP at around these prices and in one year paid off the mortgages after when it went to 25p.
POG is much bigger than GGP and it was at 15p pre-war.
Tomorrow opens up in auction and any drop will be goobled up I think!

Shorts got spooked on Friday evening just based on a spam alert.
RR spokesman said on Friday that we don't comments on rumours and speculation.
But a FTSE100 company must issue a RNS to confirm the same. Brokers usually force the companies to either dismiss the speculation or confirm that there is takeover/merger. The fact that RR didn't release RNS means that something must be going on behind the scenes. When BT had such take over news last year after BT asked its bankers to prepare for valuation, BT spiked and next day, RNS was issued so I expect RR to release RNS today at some point.
If it was a rumour (covered in almost every media outlet), RR should have issued RNS in the morning itself to dismiss it but they didn't so let's wait and see what is cooking....

poddle, am not supporting Putin but Mr. Z is also responsible for the destruction of his cities and costing the lives of the people. It is stupid of asking for more ammunition from West to fight Russia. Like Russian military heads, why not he goes and fight the war instead of sitting in a comfy leather chair and watching the news like you and me and giving speeches all around? Resist for a week or 2 but when Putin is not backing off and when you know you don't have the artillery or the people to fight then why not come to peace talks in 2 weeks instead of after a month long war? - sanctions could be removed even if ceasefire agreed, which will end the war
- Idiot Zelensky is now agreeing after 1 month for peace talks. Hope that concludes.
- Macron distancing himeslf from Biden, who is fuelling the fire between Ukraine and Russia, hope biden shuts his mouth today

But just 1hr back, Bojo was asking businesses to distance themselves from Russia. We need a strong tape to be wrapped around Bojo and Biden's mouth. I think Putin is feeling the heat of sanctions and seems to be the reason why there are statements about Russian troops withdrawing, first stage of invasion done etc.

Come on POG release the news that we made alternate arrangements for selling our gold. It is sufficient if Putin/Russian govt buys the gold and I think that is what we would see in the next RNS.

If no RNS in the morning then that means RR is neither denying the rumors nor agreeing the rumors! That will really put shorts in limbo and the price will rise further on Monday! So no news is good news on Monday!

Avanza can play their games but they would have realized by now that time in the market is important than timing the market. Enq is making lot of money. 40p next milestone. Could hit 40p before summer. TXP went from 25p to 115p just on oil discovery. We are producing big oil and reducing debt very fast. 60p easily attainable. Also a cheap target for a takeover! Clearly there was a short squeeze after the Betaville post. As Betaville was right with the merger tip for Home serve, bloody shorts closed at the last minute. Even if there is no RNS on Monday, do not think shorts will bet all the money. I think our chance is to sell it in first 10mins if we can get a quote when there is no RNS about takeover. I will pull 20k out at 115p if there is no RNS. Let's see if Sunday Times posts any article on Rolls or SKY. Certainly, today's rise would have caught their attention.

If there is no RNS then this will be pulled back to 90s so need to be ready on the sell button. If no RNS and price hits even 115p then am out. Pretty sure this will not be allowed to fly high until those flying hours are back to pre-pandemic levels.

Did not see this RNS coming in. I was expecting RNS of this sort yesterday after West were targetting Russian gold.
POG did RNS instead of hiding it for few days but the bit surprising to me is that 100% of gold output is sold only to GPB bank? Really? Was this disclosed before? I know GPB are the lenders for the IRC(subsidiary of POG) but it was never stated that they are the only takers of the 100% output gold from POG!

Anyways, we need to see what the next update is goin to be! GPB is a russian lender so probably they may not request for any immediate payment of the term loan. But I think there is a typo in the RNS. They probably meant paying interest on $560M term loan instead of paying all of $560M.

Kat2008, if the asset is hypothecated to secure the loan from a lender then lender can seize the asset if they would like to. Also GPB bank are not the only lenders so other lender will start questioning POG how the payments will be made if 100% gold output is being sold only to GPB! Do not think plug will be pulled soon. All depends on Strukhov's game plan. If he think this is the time to seize POG assets then he would do so. Although he has sold his stake but the other party that bought might be his mate!

Time in market is important than timing the market.
Business is continuing as usual. No immediate load re-payments.
When full year results are announced, big private equity funds will return seeing the MCap being at a fraction of the money that Petro makes. Company is not sanctioned so funds can invest except that it is not in the main indices but just like you and me big funds can still invest and they will surely return when the war ends as they knew the amount of money that POG is making.

Massive congratulations for the LTHs. This has been undervalued since 9p and 12p days in 2020. The moment the company survived the pandemic crisis and negative oil price in 2020, I was sure that this will go on to 20p+ only thing is that I sold too early back then but bought back higher.

Today SP hit a major milestone 30p! Still undervalued.

I really hope January, Romaron, Therapist, Kraken, E, Pelle, Modestus and all the LTHs are in big fat profits now!
My first purchase was at 43p and I hope we hit 43p by Summer.

HBR moved from 400p to 500p since their results, which is 25% rise so we could see similar 20% rise from today, which should take us to 37p. By the year end, we could be debt free if oil stays above $90, which seems to be the case for this year so 60p could come sooner than we think! GLA
