it seems another classic example of tm1 releasing a seemingly positive statement yet still they manage to make some negativity! are the board being distracted by other things happening? when is tm1 going to finally acquire 100% of recyclus? reading a company statement from last year they stated that the takeover was being aimed for early in 2023. this hasn't happened. their comms are pretty poor, that we all agree. i don't know if management read these posts but they need to get their fingers out of their ****s and sort out the problems. who is employed to do their pr? probably no-one. technology minerals - we will make a crisis out of a drama!
I purchased £250 for family portfolios early this morning through AJ Bell (Youinvest). No probs encountered.
Well, I got excited for half a second but will now go back to drinking my brew and watching GB News. The wait for the automation news continues.
Another let-down. Who's surprised??
So, TM1 got a mention right at the very end of the podast (last 2 mins). Recommended as "the stock of July" and they mention the sell-off at the end of last week "for no apparent reason". No clues as to what happened and no evidence to suggest that any issues have now been resolved. Commentator said that the stock should be significantly higher at the end of July and then August / September higher still due to the amount of cash being produced thanks for the black mass. Let's see, eh??
Thinking about it this Sunday morning, there is unlikely to be any definitive news as that would have to be released as an RNS as I understand otherwise it cold be seen as affecting the share price pre-opening tomorrow morning. Robin has said this to me a few months back prior to EA approval. Speculation is ok however concrete news would probably not be allowed. Here's to this week then and news on the alleged media day.
Anyone know if TM1 are up for discussion this weekend?
That's 6million shares sold in 2 transactions today. A lot of shares however it's still (without sounding big-headed) less than what we hold in our family portfolios. Just a drop in the ocean compared to total number of shares present. This week has been negative. I've lost quite a few grand but only on paper. I haven't sold a single share. Let's hope for a better week next month!
I remain a believer however even a tweet of reassurance would be good just now. If it is another insider leak then this doesn't bode well for the future.
Well, fingers crossed then.
Iceman, I have been reading some of your posts on TM1 from the last couple of weeks and they all are in the same sort of vein - hoping for good news but without any real substance. Now I am writing this with no malice intended....do you have any evidence regarding a press event next week or are you just hoping there is one (like the rest of us?) Anyone can write a positive, one-line note on here and make a share price prediction like you recently did, however do you have anything factual to add? Like I said I write this with no nastiness intended and I hope you read this in the way I intend it to be read.
Agree Andy. More rubbish from HC1.
Hmmm, not biased at all is it?
Thanks Club, I know nowt about solid batteries. Everyday a schoolday, eh?
Taken today from finance section of Yahoo website. Enough to make lithium batteries potentially obsolete??

Toyota has revealed plans for a next-generation electric vehicle battery capable of delivering close to 1,500 kilometres (932 miles) of range.
The Japanese automotive giant said it aims to produce the commercial solid-state battery by 2027, claiming that it will have a charge time of just 10 minutes.
“With the evolution of the vehicle’s operating system, the next-generation battery EV will also enable customization of the ‘driving feel,’ with a focus on acceleration, turning and stopping,” the company said in a technology briefing.
The company said that several recent breakthroughs with battery technology meant it was ready to move from the research stage to production of solid-state batteries, which offer a number of advantages over lithium-ion batteries that are currently used in commercial electric cars.
Despite range and charging limitations of lithium-ion batteries, they have been favoured over solid-state batteries due to cost and durability issues.
Toyota claimed that a “technological breakthrough” had overcome these issues, though did not specify which.
The company said it would continue to push forward development of lithium-ion batteries, with plans for a more efficient battery capable of 1,000km of range – nearly double that of the long-range version of Tesla’s Model Y.
Lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) batteries will also be developed as a lower cost alternative to lithium-ion and solid-state batteries, Toyota said.
Other innovations unrelated to batteries that were detailed in the briefing included aerodynamic technology “based on rocket hypersonic aerodynamics”, as well as manufacturing upgrades designed to reduce costs.
Among these is a production process called Giga casting, which was pioneered by Tesla in order to streamline the manufacturing of electric vehicles.
Toyota President Koji Sato has previously said that the company had fallen behind in the EV sector and was forced to play catchup.
The latest announcement saw Toyota’s share price jump to its highest level since last August.
Apparently £5k a tonne.
We have Savannah Resources (sav) in our portfolios who have 100% ownership of a lithium mine in Northern Portugal and have very recently been granted regulatory approval to commence with their mining plans to hopefully begin production in 2026. We also own over 7mill shares in Technology Minerals (TM1) who have mining assets in different countries (including lithium), plus they are away to begin automated recycling of L.ion batteries on an industrial scale.
Bought several thousand shares today for missus and son's portfolios so we are back in as shareholders. I sold out a couple of months back to invest very heavily in TM1. Nice feeling to return to the fold.
Bought 22k today for £1k.
Would be good to get an update on the traditional battery recycling factory too with regard to automation of that procedure. Still being recycled by hand I assume?
