Tidal is the main area.

USP is to pave the way.
I do not disagree when the environment is at risk but there are ways of getting there.

It is like saying EV for all cars.
There is still the issue of all the current vehicles and emissions.

It takes time and USP is a bridge that does this.

I think you may have been misled.
This stop with Greensill and any agreement will still need financing and this is not something that just happens over a weekend.
This will take months and months.

I am a fan of what GFG are trying to do with regards to Greensteel.

However the reality of the situation is not good and refinancing is a minefield especially to the sum of £3b.

I want this to improve for what I have invested.

However the potential loss of 3000 steel jobs in the UK and the knock on effect to suppliers is a sobering thought.

We have all endured something in 2020 that is once in a generation with Covid.

This has changed life as we know it and getting the economics back will take time.

This will involve infrastructure project that need steel. In my opinion this should be the Steel that is produced in the UK.

So as you can see I have mixed feelings.

Let's hope I am wrong and the negotiations are quicker and more fruitful than expected.

Having looked back it is hard to fathom the 40%+ decline in the SP over the last month.
The SP at the moment is a complete steal.

I joined for the same reason and also thought that long term linking in with BJs 10 point environmental plan that this would be a great investment Ali g with the potential of the global tidal market.

I agree with you on that.
Let's hope that we are at the bottom as the drop today is minimal and the movement is minimal too.

Still feel that the unique selling points of SAE ref tidal, hydro and Uskmouth are all positive and at some point irrespective of the name above the door it will grow and be reflected in the SP.

It does for the moment seem to be on 11.5 and not moving.

I would summise that any financing will take time given the nature and make up of GFG as a group.
It may be 3 months to get that in place.
There could also be some businesses that he may want to sell or similar.
Not sure where SAE may be if that were to happen.
Also I am disappointed with the Call in.

This was 5 weeks ago and is a major pointer to SUP EP.

I don't see any issues with the planning unless the Welsh Government decide to drop the project into the new legislation it is bringing in for new projects.

Does this fall inside or out?
I would assume outside by virtue of what the project is and some of the benefits of landfill reduction and waste plastics.

We shall see.......

Yes GFG will detail the price slightly.
Yes the plan may deviate for SUP supporting greener steel.
However the plan to add SUP and Tidal to the Grid for energy is still there.

I think the big questions are...

If GFG hit the wall what happens to SAE?

Will the USP be affected in the interim? Call in...could affect the SP.

Will the new CEO of SAE stay during whilst the clouds are gathering...

Mid term will SAE have the form factor that makes it viable should it be sold??? SP rises
If GFG get another financial backer then the SP rises???

There are more questions than answers.
I suppose it is about derisking or seeing an opportunity. That is down to each investors objectives...
