Do we know of any key milestones and timelines for home use.
This is obviously a big factor short term in the SP and also the market cap.

I have been using the LFTs with my family on a very regular basis.

This week my family has between us done 12 tests. This is for our benefit in moving around and meeting others etc.

We are not yet using LFTs for work or other similar areas but would.

This leads me to think that the market is still very large with home use for

Travel, events, meeting others, work and so on.

It in my opinion is therefore now essential in the short term that the HUA is in place very soon.

Does anyone know of any imminent news regarding home use of the Avacta LFT?

I think the boat is moving and if no deal has already been made then it may be missed.

So in the real world people going on holiday use the links to the tests etc and LFTs for going or coming back are paid for.

The big driver is cost.
£15 for the cheapest one.

So which one will people tend to use?
One that offers what Avacta offer or the cheapest.

The answer will be cheapest and most convenient.

I hope they have not missed the boat and they have another plan in place but without home use this ain't going to happen.

Cannot remember the dates etc that we expected the green light for the test to be ok for home use but I am sure we should have had this by now.

Not sure some comprehend how many LFTs will be required going forward and the need for them to be extremely accurate. It seems to me that that UK consortium of manufacturers working with and whose productions scale up have been financed by the Govt are now ready for this new part 2 of the testing programme the Govt is about to switch to.
The Govt now has a list of approved suppliers and they can call off as needed within a defined budget and time frame. The pie is more than big enough for us when it comes to possibly getting a Govt order plus house accounts and distributor orders. Don't forget Asia and a possible distribution/manufacturing announcement in that part of the World...

Let's see the facts instead of repeated this or that, from him or them.

I think we need the Avacta left named with a contract or similar.

Too much empty speculation.

Health minister just stated on Andrew Marr show that PCR testing on return to the country will be changed and they are in the process of changing this current requirement.

Come avacta let's get some deals done with airlines and be one of the companies with frontline airline and travel testing.

The variants will keep on mutating.
There is no evidence as of now that this variant evades the vaccines, however there will be speculation of this.

There maybe spurious reports but there are too many aspects still to consider surely then just assuming that
every variant means that vaccines are not effective.

I am a avacta supporter and feel that affdix for LFDs will come to its own at some point although belated.

The variants will persist. Vaccines will be developed further. Lateral flow tests will become normal for not just Covid but other things as an early detection measure to safeguard against spread.

As mentioned earlier Affdix in LFDs and similar will have its day, hopefully.

Firstly, I am sorry you had to write to us in this way and please accept my apologies for the delay in our latest update.



These updates were started to give insight into the ongoing work we are doing in some really exciting areas. In July we provided a broad update through the AGM notice, including the CEO and Chairman updates (https://simecatlantis.com/annual-report-2019/chief-executive-officers-statement/). We had planned an update alongside the AGM, focusing on our Remediiate partnership, going into more detail around the work they are doing at Uskmouth, but like so many things we have had to change our filming on multiple occasions due to covid (although we are hoping to get this booked in really soon). Anyway, our August update is actually scheduled for tomorrow and has a really interesting video explaining the fuel process in more detail, which I hope you will find helpful.

Find it very odd and a little deflating that the monthly newsletter and update was started and this lasted 2 editions.

Makes me think that something not positive maybe happening behind the scenes.

The only info we see now are repeated ones from Twitter every 2 -3 days.

Again. Just cannot see it and think yet again we have the ramping brigade.
