I have a feeling that some time in the very near future the Welsh government will give the green light for Usk project.
The recent changes as we start April with fuel and energy prices and recent commissions to restart coal mines and oils exploration in the UK although not environmentally friendly and a negative are positive now for SAE.

Now it may just be me...but whether it is SAE or another company plastic waste re-use to energy will be a connection as a temporary bridging process.

Currently there is no magic wand that will get this country to a position where it can produce the energy required to keep the country going.

The gas and electricity issues we have had with prices increasing make it even more important that we are self sufficient going forward so irrespective of it being Uskmouth or another method then this type of process will be needed.

Tidal is going to take years to really develop.

Hydrogen is the same.

Infrastructure is going to have issues with greater demand.

Lack of energy with more processes needing electricity from an already over demanded grid..

So please tell me your thoughts on how we get there in an effective way going greener as we do it.

What are the solutions to energy requirements.

It is very easy to say this will do this and this is not right....

However there needs to be a bridging solution.

The current Russian situation gives rise to the UK being able to be more self sufficient.

So again what are the solutions?
Easy to throw assumptions about the potential issues with tidal, but a lot harder to get solutions.

We are now entering a phase where energy costs are going to double.
Fuel may hit £2.

The point I would like to make is as follows.
We all. Every one of us create issues with the environment and apart from a few, we use energy.

This energy is normally from fossil fuels.

So why are windmills in the water an eco disaster???

Why is Uskmouth and eco disaster.

Yes I want a greener future.

However and this is the big problem...

We do not have a switch that we can currently flick that takes us from where we are currently to zero fossil fuels and a very small or negative carbon footprint.

Welcome to hear and would like other people's views on this cis I feel that there is a utopian answer that people keep giving without the bridging solution to get there.

Whether this is with SAE or another company and whether at Usk or somewhere else it is an inevitable eventuality.

There is going to be too much demand and not enough energy. Simple.

No.
Is it better than coal?
Of course and will be made smarter.

I am a believer in saving the planet and green eco causes.

If so where is the energy going to come from as a bridging technology for the green revolution.

They are making false position on a share with no facts to show why the price is driven down.
