Why not mention coal burning if the stacks can be used short term and the short term profits could be used to drive the business forward? Next few months I can guarantee people will be on here moaning about the financials of the company by April if not we'll before then. Never mind whether your environmental concerns out weigh the carbon producing side the business will not go forward and have the ability to drive the environmental side as much as it could of done, if at all. Were all PI's here with a vested interest in the business (I naturally assume). Surely anyone who wants the best for there investment and the green production of energy surely must see that sorry term negatives concerning carbon may have a huge effect on reduction of carbon long term via financials####

They have removed the heart of the processing plant etc as part of financing the BESS project and gaining money to basically strip areas to I would assume make more space for similar BESS areas.

Hence the burning coal, Sub-coal or anything else ain't gonna happen and would take far too long anyway if this were even possible , which it is not.

Sae are looking at alternative areas globally to use the Sub-coal technology so who knows?

Problem is it won't be going back into the grid for the UK?

Why would they if they even could burn coal?

But the main plant has been removed hence the ability to use sub coal pellets has evaporated into thin air.

The company was in dire straits when Usk was called in and the Welsh Government decided rightly or wrongly to back sub coal pellets at Usk.
With tidal in the balance and the balance sheet not balancing then they had to do something with the site.

BESS now born and is a quick turnaround project to get the energy supply stored from the grid in the lithium battery cell in the storage units.

This ong with the upfront and interim payment linked to ATES being sold is all about where the company was as they strategically and correctly for me wanted to burn special pellets derived from plastic that would give them the finances and income to support the tidal business.

It is quite simple and I will say it again if you want.

Tidal will happen but it is going to be a slow burner Usk and Sub-coal was all about cash generation via production of energy to the grid.

I don't understand why you mentioned burning coal as this is just a really negative path to go down as I am sure you will see after this cold snap ends and all the southerners start to handle the cold weather. Only joking - I meant Londoners.
