𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧! ✨ As the hashtag#CelticSea offshore development gets closer to occurring, there is a massive gap in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) to service it.
I met with the wonderful Mark Lawther, GM of Appledore shipyard, and his hugely experienced team, and as they showed me around I absolutely saw what others (Dan Start, Chris Fuller) have been telling me for a while – that this area of North Devon and Torridge is ideally positioned, with existing and proposed developments, to provide a stellar O&M service to developers.
Thanks Mark, Daniel Fearnley, Mark Durham, John Pavitt at Harland & Wolff Appledore for your hospitality and great ideas – I hope JET Connectivity is soon in a position to get some of our hashtag#5G buoys built with you and supporting the Celtic Sea mission.
And thanks Chris and Fiona Henderson Torridge District Council for your hospitality and sharing your Clean Maritime Growth Vision (link in the comments - an exciting read!)
Also great to see m'old muckah Neil Wedderburn from my Systems Engineering & Assessment Ltd days. 😜
The Crown Estate, Phil Johnston, Celtic Sea Power
This seems to reinforce my view that it is the senior management below the board that are the important people with their contacts.
