Telephoneman - I said 'If' because I am not sure what, if any, technical difficulties there would be in using Hyrogen to power trains over and above using it to fuel cars. It follows that I do not know if it would be possible to reduce the cost of building a hydrogen powered train. Therefore, I said if PHE could come up with a solution then the DfT would be interested. I doubt that the DfT would be very interested in possibilities.

If PHE can come up with a solution that reduces the cost of hydrogen trains then I think the department of transport might be interested.

Piltick - In reference to your 09.53 post. I cannot find any applications for Peel Environmental which is surprising as I know they have made an application.

If the first G3 unit is to be ready by Q3 2019 then I would have expected a planning application to build the factory to have been submitted by now to allow for the application to be processed. I checked on the site that Audible provided the link to using both waste2tricity and Powerhouse Energy. In both cases I got no results. Checking using Hydrogen came back with an old application.

This would appear to be an old planning application. It is not clear if the decision was appealed. Planning law is not an area I am particularly familiar with but I suspect that a new application would be needed.

What is everyone hoping from the budget on Monday. I would go for a cut in corporation tax. Also to keep or increase pension tax relief to encourage more people to save for thier retirement. Doubt we will see either though.

PAAA - I do not suppose that HMT will set an example by investing the money held in the PCSPS and the other defined benefits schemes it has responsibility for in start ups and infrastructure companies.

telephoneman - In your opinion which would be the most cost effective to license the technology that underpins the G3 units to the group of companies mentioned in 98889's 17.59 post of yesterday. Alternatively supply upgraded G3 units tht can meet thier needs.

98889 - Thanks for this have you shared this with the company/W2T to see if they would want to use the DMGA technology in this as it seems a natural fit. Also the company has the technology ready seems to waste it.

Skier1 - Thank you for your post. May I most respectfully put forward another scenario other than your worse case one. Due to the finite space that can be given over to growing food coupled with the increase in the population there is an increased need to for greater yields from crops. However due to enviromental concerns this means that only organic food products are making money. In those circumstances only food grown using organic fretilisers are selling. In that scenario as Poly4 is an organic fertiliser that causes minimal leaching into the ground it is well placed to succeed.

Oceanfox - I can think of two reasons first they may have bought all the shares they are comfortable. This would probably be the case with CF. The second possibility is that the insider trading rules prohibit them buying. Tghis would be the case if they were in possession of information that is not in the public domain which would affect the share price.
