Wolveshaveeyes In relation to your 08.27 post the problem is that traditionally it has been DR who has given the press interviews as he would be the one who has done the negotiating. It would be interesting to see if this interview is the start of a change in practice or just a get to know you interview. If you want to know about contracts ask DR he is the one that would be doing the negotiating.

whatamess In relation to your 12.57 post that is the knid of information that would be trated as commercial in confidence. Having said that I note that INFA has been strengthening capacity to write tenders so I would say it is possible that a tender would have been made. Also as INFA is unlikely to win every tender they bd they may want to adopt a policy of bidding on all contracts so as to improve thier chances of winning enough contracts to sustain the business. One final observation these contracts are in the range that Appledore would want to bid for and which we were told t the time of the Appledore purchase there was not mch competition.

telephoneman In relation to your 10.30 post while I am sure you are right the concern I have is due to the appearance of bias rather than an suggestion of actual bias in favour of the concert party. I would like to wait and see if he does act in a way that demonstrates independence. If he does not then a case could be made when he comes up for reelection not to approve his reelection.

On reading this tender notice carefully I note that there will be three lots each valued at £58m so if INFA was to bid for and win all three lots then the total contract value would be £178m. Also it would seem possible for the work undr this contract to be done at either Belfast or Appledore as he dry dock at both is long enough.

One thing that concerns me about yesterday's RNS other than its timing is whether Timothy Yeo is an Independent Chairman. In the circular of 25 June 2020 which gave the terms of the W2T takeover on page 9 it states:

As will be seen Tim Yeo was part of the concert party so can we be assurred that he will act at all times in the best interests of the company and not in the interests of the concert party alone. I am not sure if anything can be done as any changes to proxy instructions to vote against resolution has to be given in time for those instructions to be executed by Monday.

Flow77 In relation to your 13.27 post i was the way I worded my post I meant £2.5 million a year for ten years to build the 50 units then from year 10 it will as you say it will be £50m. I know the £2.5m is cumulative so each year the revenue increases by £2.5m.

JackRussell2 In relation to your 10.15 post there was a post I believe it was yesterday that financial close is due in November of this year with completion due to by November 2021. It was originally going to be earlier in 2021 but because of the Covid restrictions it is delayed. So the unit will be up and running before 2022.

Jabberba In relation to your 08.37 post yu say he is well connected in government on what do you base that on he is a conservative and wasa formr Mnister over 20 years ago. The current government is from a different party and it si unliely that any of the officials he worked with when he was a Minister are still in place.

Dr.Anomaly While he is a former Trade Secretary that was over 20 years ago so I am not sure how good his contacts from then would be.

The departure of Dr Davies as Chairman is interesting in view of resolution 4 to be voted on at the AGM. he only way to reconcile the two is if he is remaining as a director. I also note that Tim Yeo's appointment as a director has not been approved and is another resolution for the AGM.

abdalian In relation to your 18.42 this is the same Prime Minister who had indicated that a statement on Hydrogen strategy will be made before the summer recess. This statement is now expected early next year so pardon me if I do not hold much store by what he says.
