According to the Belfast Harbour website the Seatruck Panorama will on 4 May at 9am shift from SRQ to VT1. I cannot find a reference to when it will berth at SRQ but it does not look like it will be there for long.

SI_Derman In relation to both of your posts of this morning. While I do not necessarily subscribe to the suggestion that there is some ulterior motive to the delay in reaching a decision on the marine license. I note that one of the proposed routes for a connection between Scotland and Northern Ireland runs close to Islandmagee. This perhaps complicating factor would be covered in the submission to the Minister. I would also observe that the Northern Ireland Ministers are known to take their time in reaching a decision on occasion. We will get a decision when the Minister makes it which may or may not be this month.

Further to my 18.05 post the European Highlander is now en route to Larne as confirmed on Vesselfinder.

Just checked the Belfast Harbour website and the departure of the European Highlander has been bought forward from noon tomorrow to 7pm tonight. This means that the repairs have been finished early. That is one way to impress a client. It does however means that both docks are now empty with nothing noted to be coming in for the next 7 days.

Amongst all the information in the interim results was the information that INFA will be changing its year end to 31 December. This means that the current year end will be 31 December 2021 with the next Annual Results due by no later than 30 June 2022. It was also stated that quarterly trading updates will be given. Interestingly the next update is due by 30 June which is about when we should hear about the Triumph Subsea contract.

BlairPeach In relation to your 14.21 post you must try better when you want to scaremonger the RNS of 10 February 2020 states inter alia 'has secured a £2 million asset backed term debt facility (the "Facility"). ' While it does say that the facility is secured by a FIRST charge over the assets of H&W (Belfast) the value of those assets exceed the amount of the facility. I would draw your attention to the accounts where there is shown a figure in excess of £6m in the revaluation reserve. This figure relates to the assets of H&W (Belfast) and is the difference between the value of those assets as valued at the time of the purchase and the revaluation of the assets. So as a conservative estimate allowing for interest payments H&W (Belfast) can provide security for £8m by way of a second charge.

BlairPeach In elation to your 14.02 post where do you get the information that H&W (Belfast) is 'hocked to the leg breakers'. My figures were taken from the balance sheet in the interim results.

IvorHunch In relation to your 12.34 post while a rights issue or a placing is possible it is not the only way to raise finance. In respect of the Islandmagee Project there is the option of selling an equity stake in the subsidiary that 'owns' the assets. Also that subsidiary could create a subsidiary with the investors holding a share in that subsidiary. In addition there is the option of preference shares being issued. None of these options would cause dilution. Also as there is £20m in net assets there is the option of a floating charge over those assets. From this you can see that raising finance does not mean dilution.

It is being reported that shipping will be bought within the Climate Change Target. I wonder what effect this will have on shipbuilding.

Bubble2021 In relation to your 07.17 post while I agree that prospects are looking good for H2 I would not call the results excellent. Of particular note which is comforting is the increase in the gross margin which was reflected in the operating profit being higher than in the previous period. If this margin carries through into H2 or increases then we should hopefully see a reduction in losses in the year end results.

Posted earlier than expected the interim results were posted today. Despite income was not as high as I was expecting I am currently maintaining a strong buy. Income was up from both year end and the corresponding period last year. Losses were up as well. I have not fully read the forward looking statements but from the RNSs and other information I would expect an uptick in income during H2.

SI_Derman In relation to your 17.23 post. This is a different project but it is something that has to be borne in mind. I note that Crown Estate Scotland have increased the Local Content Requirement for Scotwind leases to 25%.

Avyererdowt In relation to your 10.55 post I agree with what you say I would observe that when you look at the number of windfarms that are planned, all have local content requirements of between 10 - 25%, the amount of potential income from the necessary contracts is such that the restrictions on the type of work is not that much of an issue.
