Also, it not clear how much profit/if any GDR makes on supplying the actual system. The business model has always been presented as relying on sales of actual tests (with a typical margin of 50/60 percent). So it's probable GDR supplies the machines (circa £5k each with a 6-year life) at cost.

In the past, GDR has done PR effort when a sales push is on/and significant sales anticipated (going back some years, though significant sales never materialised). That's why I don't think they'll be much in terms of sales this year.

GDR have avoided making very concrete statements about the outlook they expect. No sales estimate! Of course they wouldn't want to do a media interview! I'm thinking though time to buy GDR might be if/when share price goes under 1.5p placing price. As if they then announce FDA approval for AIHL product share price should then go up quite a bit. But it won't be long after that they would be announcing another fund raise. (which could easily be at 1.5p again or even a bit lower.) I'm thinking next time it mgiht be better to buy GDR a bit before the fund raise rather than after (assuming share price drops a lot from here.)

Just my opinion but I genuinely think you'll see only small orders if anything at all in next few months. There's no evidence at all that larger orders are being placed.

Interesting though that GDR made this point in their last RNS:

"Whilst positioned primarily for enabling near-patient point of care testing, the Genedrive® System is also suitable for traditional laboratory testing paradigms as a more affordable alternative to more expensive laboratory platforms where sample throughput requirements do not necessitate high-scale batch processing."

Perhaps suggesting they don't expect to sell much as a POC test due to NICE guidance.
