To me, they either have to find some way of massively cutting their employee numbers or simply go bust. Only 5 weeks left to come up with some kind of solution that an investor will be happy with to make them part with their cash. No way will they get the financing they need for the next year simply from their retail shareholder base.

The wording is odd. Because rather than saying sales they said "total income". But not net income. In other words, it probably equates to £300,000 in actual profit at best.

It's not that they are forecasting £3.6m for current financial year. They saying that for August and September they (first two months of current financial year) they have £0.6m confirmed.

If you could just lend them £5m Carrots, then all good.

Someone bought in today/increased their position....personally think crazy timing to buy given the uncertain funding situation and likelihood of further dilution (in best case scenario as I see it)

The problem is the cash burn is very high relative to the current revenue of the company. But vast majority of cash burn goes on payroll. Perhaps they'll make most employees redundant and attempt to stay in business that way??

Kaeren, To me obvious that broker just wasn't prepared to give them any more in last one, so that's why it was so little. They were doing it as a market maker/liquidity provider with view to sell shares immediately/as soon as possible back into market, so not even as an investor. The trouble is, now share price is below the nominal value they really need a proper investor. It seems no one is prepared to front it. Who knows was proposal, if any they'll come up with next.

But they can ask shareholders for permission (but I believe to do that they need a proper anchor investor onboard because it would then be a formal fundraising if investors voted by 75% in favour)

What's obviously very bad news though is they still don't have a plan/proposal in place on how to raise money....lol...I thought by now they would be putting a concrete plan to investors.

Behind the scenes, GDR must be scrambling to find a finance solution/financing proposal to put to shareholders. Bound to be an RNS in that vein any day now.

If you at recent price behaviour of bitcoin strong correlation with the S&P 500 (which of course is the index that tends to drive global stock markets as well).

But you have to look at the more pronounced movements in S&P 500 to really see the corresponding move in bitcoin. I am 100% sure they are positively correlated to a high degree. This chart shows it:

Personally, would wait for decent sell off in S&P 500 before having a go on this one or Strategy now. Probably would choose Strategy. Chance to make multiples in recovery phase if you can buy on lows after a significant sell off. (positive correlation means bitcoin will fall ALOT if US market goes down)

Jimi, Nothing at all would surprise me in the corporate world. I've witnessed far stranger/worse things happen first hand.

If it does end up going under, there's bound to be some last-ditch efforts on funding etc, before that worst happens.

Imagine you're a marketing professional: a website redesign project is a good thing to put on your CV and mention in interviews.
