Combined, the company has issued over 11 billion new shares across these major funding rounds between August 2025 and March 2026. As of March 2026, the total enlarged issued ordinary share capital was approximately 18.57 billion shares

I would have thought that to mean the full implementation and execution of the legal and financial agreements, not just knowing the details. But of course it's probably one of those 'grey' areas surrounding ambiguous wording, so you could well be right.

Mr. Dude, that’s a pretty bleak outlook on the team. I’m interested in those red flags, but you didn’t actually offer your perspective on why this news might not be seen as an encouraging result, despite the factors I mentioned in my earlier post at 1045hrs. Do you think the management issues make my point irrelevant, or are they two separate problems?

Just a reminder of the factors I mentioned earlier ............

Reduced Dilution: The original deal would have issued enough shares to give Central Petroleum a 25% stake in Georgina Energy. This massive dilution is now off the table.

Lower Funding Requirement: Completion of the acquisition was contingent on a £7 million fundraise. By walking away, GEX avoids the immediate pressure to raise this large sum in a volatile market.

Operational Focus: Some investors argue the company was overextended. Cancellation allows management to focus exclusively on their 100% owned assets, Hussar and Mt Winter, where drilling preparations are already advanced.
