Usual games
All delicate little flowers, millennials etc might not be happy who Vast have as an off take partner and are already moraning about them and what's it costing us shareholders (read past RNS, personally nothing to shareholders) but AP and Trafigura, worth $90Billion, are very well suited to each other. If they get on with each other in Tajikistan this could be the start of a profitable future with other projects.
Results are due soon so we will get the figures people are after, just need to be patient, with a growing portfolio we won't be disappointed and let's hope for a re-rate and a nice rise in SP.
Good start to the day, thank you Vast.
Do I trust what a load of spotty day trading youths say on this forum (more than likely ex-public schools), in their expert knowledge of mining, especially the massive cost involved etc, or do I believe in my own research and that of institutional investors who are stil heavily invested in Vast Resources...
After 10 years on AIM some of the bull the derampers come out with never fails to amuse.
Derampers for this share are like buses, nothing for ages then they all arrive at the same time all spouting figures that bamboozle many investors, just because you all bought in when it was about 60p is your fault, do more research next time. That's miners on AIM for you.
Many miners have suffered this year, Rambler, POG, GGP etc, nothing is guaranteed, but personally I have spent many hours going through past social media, Google, RNS and so far Vast seem to have got their act together, results on 26th Oct will hopefully prove this.
We will find out in late October if its delayed again, but after a 2 year pandemic, European war on their doorstep and now a recession I personally am giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I take it this was a buy, if so nice start leading up to October updates and results.
Closed period and won't be able to sell or purchase...are you serious, this is AIM, anything goes, are you telling me he won't tell friends and family to buy after dropping it 20% this week and just before the results, this SP is following the same pattern as in May before it exploded
I've noticed that for the last month or so at about 17.08hrs there appears an unknown Buy/Sell, often a large amount (today was about £30k). Atlas still dumping stock?
I
I've seen a few videos of Andrew Hall on YouTube, bloke does not like social media and needs to be kept away from it for the sake of Vast Resources
This SP should rise now AP mates have jumped on board, or intending to, well timed for upcoming results.
Well timed, down 20% and end of year results due within the month. This should rise once everyone involved with Vast jumps in at this low SP.
BP will keep producing…copper, molybdenum, silver, gold and zinc means they won’t stop mining, EU in the future will probably ban imports of minerals from outside of Europe (like molybdenum and Lithium) their green agenda means why move it around the world causing pollution when we have it on our doorstep
Blueberry…IPO or sell
Remaining Romanian assets…sell
Africa and diamonds…move on, their governments would rather trust the Chinese than British miners
The future for Vast will be in Tajikistan, many miners already there, plenty of gold and minerals, AP seems to like the country and its Government
October results are up to April 22 so let’s see what the Molybdenum and Tajikistan venture has added to the bottom line
I could of topped up this week, money is there, excellent price, but there comes to a point when you just think no that's enough, at the moment I'm at that point. I expect I'm not the only one thinking this.
Since Christmas I've been lucky and bailed out before the GGP SP dropped and POG SP was suspended, this is now my main share, not losing any sleep but I hope things improve in October. I can think of better ways of losing money day after day.
Let's hope the news next month is outstanding, (another large % rise in SP would be welcomed), we need decent results from all of Vast Resources portfolios in Romania, Africa and Tajikistan, expansion within Tajikistan would be great (its the reason Chinese miners and Glencore are there, it's a very profitable country to be in, decent tax breaks, welcoming government etc)
I personally think forget about Africa, keep mining Baita Plai, sell Bueberry and the other assets in Romania and just expand into minerals and gold in Tajikistan.
The future to make money as a miner and increase our SP will be in Asia
Forgot about the close period and it can be up to two months before results. This probably explains no news for the past month. Another month to wait then...
If AIM miners don't get their act together private investors will hesitate to invest in them, what with MM playing games, rampers V derampers who all think they are mining experts, mining companies that are really lifestyle companies (not saying Vast is...yet), it will come to the point when everyone will just invest in Greggs or Tesco etc and let mining companies get their money through Switzerland or ii.
The Swiss won't be as forgiving as us, so come on AIM MM and Miners throw us private investors the occasional bone...
As the title suggests its getting hard to honestly defend this SP, Vast are getting there, plenty of valuable assets, but just a little bit of news now and then just to show they're still alive would be nice, anyhow the results on the 26th October better be a cracker if that's what they're holding back on news for.
TOMSKI…very popular on POG before it was suspended
Fascinating how the mm can control the SP with such low buys and sells, one minute SP up 7% due to some big buys then a few very low sells from shorters/mm and down she goes back to where we were at the start of the day.
Have been seeing these tricks since my Encore Oil and Beowulf days, does make you angry but at least it gives us yet another chance to buy more shares at a low price.
