True reality is that MATD had spent a whopping £174million in Mongolia and they delivered naught.

The H1 well, the only well that has real chance of producing oil, at 200bopd, is having issues.

The export license is in progress. Without it, there will be no sales.

There is a forecasted £14.9 million commitment for the new prospect Borzon Block.

Based on all the above, a massive placing is looking likely.

This is the reality.

At least Gord_1 and myself actually know our stuff when it comes to Matad.

A lot of short term traders are making extreme SP predictions without knowing the ins and outs.

Good written post. I would like to add to that.

MATADs plan to rely on PC to begin with is wrong.

MATAD don't have their own facilities so they go to PC to beg for their storage etc.

But the most concerning is HERON, Mike Buck drilled H1 out of desperation after Wild Horse and a few other wells were dusters,

H1 is actually part of the PC well and underground the formation extends into the Matad licensed area.

Even MB himself at the time, said he shamelessly went and drill H1. You can listen back on the presentation.

Now the problem with this, is PC won't be happy if their neighbour went and drilled into their resource.

I don't know if it for this reason that had caused many hurdles and delays.

But either ways, it's no good having to rely on others to get things done.

As a LTH that have supported MATAD for the last 10 years, I can entirely say MB is to blame. This has now turned into a dog share

Every bit of news points to a placing and a big one is needed to support the ongoing operations in Mongolia.

If the Mongolian government had that much money then they wouldn't open their doors for foreign investment.

Another fact, if there were a soft loan you think MATAD haven't taken advantage of that in their last 20 years in Mongolia.

This finally feels like the last chapter in MATD's journey.

It's a make or break situation and H1 will decide where this company goes.

If the H1 well doesn't improve dramatically on its flow rates then I am pretty confident that it will be over for MATD, and things aren't looking good for H1 honestly.

They had too many chances, £170 millions over the years and delivered pretty much zero.

The market has lost patience, and trust,vans confidence in MATD.

Imagine if Matad were sitting on $170M positive balance right now. What a difference that would make going into Borzon with the funds.

However, reality isn't so ideal. The management's poor decisions over the years have costed $170M in total on failed exploration campaigns.

Leaving shareholders with only Heron1 that in reality, has any real chance to deliver 200ish bopd.

MATAD sure knows how to blow their funds.

MATD would have had $170M in the bank, equivalent to a successful well exploration campaign, if they had just sat on the money and did nothing!

They blew an accumulated sum of over "millions of barrels of oil" equivalent, that they said they will find, but never did.
