RE: Morning all ...8 Aug 2018 07:47
Good to see you still here FX. It's become apparent to me that Colin regards AST as his plaything. His not appearing at the meeting today, as the CEO of this company, shows an attitude of sulking because his plaything is being meddled with by someone else. If it has been 'suggested' to him not to attend that shows the concern among others involved in the meeting have about him.
Circle Oil went bust for debt reasons. AST don't have that, yet. They are making money from PG10 and PG11a, despite the problems with them.
We need some proper diplomacy and today's meeting should provide that. That could then provide the right 'atmosphere' for other companies (in the SR) to get involved with AST to provide the necessary funding to get all the wells up and running. The gas is in the ground and wells are there already, they just need to be reopened. We see many companies using new technology to access mines, gas or oil which were thought to be used up. SML are an example in Cornwall where tin is being looked at again. Unfortunately for Colin he will lose overall control as other companies get involved. That's no bad thing for us.
