I would expect another RNS sometime today or tomorrow with the results of the meeting yesterday. Can not see how they can say much about it without an RNS as any information would effect the SP and therefore must be RNSed.

Surely yesterday's meeting has to be RNSed? It must effect the share price surely? And we need to know the result of it. There won't be many shareholders left by Monday.

1.32p should be right though. Didn't equate yesterday though. Oz seems to be getting somewhat ahead of us here.

Conference call? There was a significant meeting yesterday between British Embassy staff and the Environment Agency. Where's the RNS for that?

He could have relayed the facts in a better way. Words do matter. But then he's just an accountant really. If he'd been more diplomatic with the Slovenian authorities and completed their paperwork diligently and on time we may have had the permits already and not be where we are now. The latest information coming out has shown they have not been diligent or on time. In fact ARSO have given them an extra 15 days even though they had missed the deadline already.

With AIM the MMs move the price without an RNS quite often. But an RNS would be helpful, as long as it is positive and reassures investors that AST has a future.

I would hope we get something positive out of the meeting. Diplomacy could well help as the pedantry in the paperwork seems to be excessive. A reasonable approach could smooth over the 'difficulties'. A positive outcome could well increase the SP significantly, as long as the outcome is made known to the market.

So we are still reliant on Colin providing the result of the meeting, even if he wasn't there? We should expect an RNS later today or first thing tomorrow with the results of the meeting and positive action for the way forward. Yeah, right.

Maybe a waste of time for the others at the meeting as they are doing well out of the current arrangement. This company is there to extract Slovenian gas for their benefit. Pointless? Really?

Jay, It really isn't difficult to get a flight. There are plenty going to Slovenia and they're not all full. You may have to pay a premium but when needs must ... and needs definitely must right now for Colin, he's the CEO ffs. As for the rest of your post he can easily tell us any of those options. There's no need for secrecy. In fact the more open he is now the better for the company. We don't need rocket science. We just need communication.

New_2 I'm really beginning to think Colin needs to be replaced with the CEO of the company who comes in from the Strategic Review. That company would be an oil and gas company and their CEO would have the necessary expertise.

Some very small sells seem to be holding this down. I suppose if some are willing to sell at 1.18p then there's no reason for the MMs to pay out more.

Conclusion: AST need big gas or oil player to come in with expertise and funds to sort out the reopening of the wells and fixing of PG10 and PG11a.

Our funds are currently minimal in AST. AST are not going bust, yet. I saw it happen to Circle Oil. They went bust because of debt. That's not the case with AST. If that is all you can say Manifesto then save your typing fingers.

Any advice as to how we can 'be careful'? Sell up and accept a massive loss? Not very helpful.

I hope you are right Afrim. No one knows, we can only suspect on the basis of what we see. I feel sure they have some conversations with the Slovenian government about it. They would be happy to have AST removed as competition, however insignificant AST may be.

Hardy they just need funding and attention from experts, not the apparently amateurish attention they've received from Colin's people.
