Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Had some last night. Nearly bought some but I’m buying a new car so being careful with the pennies! Went quickly…
Stuff on MP sells out so quickly. They don’t seem able to keep up with demand.
Also agree with OB. Flat lining / consolidation at a £ is very good for us. If a little boring to watch.
I still have a feeling we’ll get a summer RNS but assuming not, still think we’ll rise strongly when holidays are over pre-results. Then need to hope for good ones.
I did my bit with another MP order last night 💪🏻👍🏻
Also sense some of the holders here have sold up judging by their posts.
Fair play if you can trade this - you’re better and braver than me - but the main reason I don’t is that a proportion of traders will miss the big RNS I expect to arrive.
As I’ve said before, a summer RNS here wouldn’t shock me, so it’s a risky strategy in my opinion.
Agree with this OSG.
Let’s call it a flat £1m, it’s 25% of the proceeds of OD sale, or what we spend on advertising in two days.
It’s immaterial, tbh, and not worth the discussion it’s had here or in the media. I bet they write bigger purchase orders in THG most weeks. But it could pay off many, many fold very quickly.
I’d have nothing against building a small media division if it ultimately could save a fair chunk of that £200m marketing spend and keep the £ ‘in THG’.
Only at the right price, mind, which this one seems to have been.
Me either BAZ.
Looking forward to the next six to twelve months and this rerating to somewhere near a sensible price. Even then I’m not sure I’ll sell because the longer term potential is HUGE.
It’s a good point about Henderson. He likes a lot of Matt’s posts. I wonder whether he’ll be using some of his £700k pw salary to invest in THG?!
Why won’t the next investor conference call happen Rock8?
Wow that’s a good old chunk they bought back. Surprised they managed to do that yesterday.
That trade hasn’t worked out well for them. Let’s hope Qube take note and bail also.
Sticking with my prediction!
Also agree we have shorts (undisclosed) closing or someone accumulating. Obviously I’d prefer the latter.
Sadly low summer volume probably gives them the chance to close or accumulate slowly within a range, which is clearly what they’ll be hoping to do.
We need to get Premium listing initiated immediately, or another nice MM bombshell, to give them some competition sharpish.
What we don’t have is sellers so I’m confident we’ll move up gradually, which is probably what we need.
Going to predict a blue day here again today.
This is exactly why I don’t think the IPO was overpriced at £5, and that we’ll see it again. Those who consider selling at £3 would be doing themselves out of the big gains imo.
The market can’t keep this disparity in valuation forever.
Yeah, some big trades reported after hours.
Our buyer(s) are still around.
Keep on ticking up slowly, just how I like it.
Let’s hope we test 110p tomorrow & finish above 107p for a proper run at it next week.
Wouldn’t want to be short here, in a bull market, with 8% to buy back 😬🤣
Sorry, not sure what is going on with posts on here recently. Part autocorrect and LSE seems to cut off some sentences.
*£750m Ebitda
** Maybe we could do with some more forward looking growth projections.
I’d also welcome this.
Their valuation off current revenues/profitability seems crazy. I think it might be because they’re openly predicting £75 Ebitda by 27 or something?
Maybe we could do with
Either way, a 3x growth in less than 2 months (and 15% swing again today) shows just how quickly things can change and exactly why I won’t be selling a single Thg share until some sense is returned to this SP.
*chiseled
Bloody autocorrect!
Eh, less of the jokes about chiseler dad bids kbyk!
Number of growth/tech stocks well up. Hopefully the pivot point.
One of life’s real injustices is that people like Nils, who have never built a multi-billion £ business in their life, get to comment on those who have in the British press.
Plus he has a really annoying looking face.
Yep, hopefully the shaky hands have folded and we now have a good base at £1 to move up.
I can only imagine Ocado was shorts closing yesterday, so hopefully a sign of things to come here.
