Would be an absolute steal at that price long term
If it drops that low I will top up adding to my tally and hold long term. If and when any positive news happens in the short term will be an added bonus
I also hold both Evraz and poly.
yesterday poly was hitting 220 now today it at 130 and still dropping
Maybe the suspension is a good thing for Evraz with all the turbulence.
We get a sp drop through suspension, get a little good news and boost for the merger being cancelled. Then a mighty kick in the balls with the latest indexes announcement
I know this thread is for Evraz but if you look at the issues poly having.
i would still like an update from the company
When this first come about the company where swift in posting rns informing and denying the allegations however I think having had more sh*t thrown at us since they remain quiet.
A small update on proceedings or when we at least expect some news would be useful.
A lot including myself talk on here without knowing it Would be interested to know directly how they see a way out of this
That was a response to me asking why are normal working class citizens like us being sanctioned when we commit no crime but have our assists seized also and why does the government spread
Misinformation etc etc
Sent a mail to local mp don’t even think he read it nowhere does he reference concerns and questions raised.
“Thank you for your email. I agree more needs to be done. This is a fast-moving situation and I have been in contact with the Home Office who tell me that they are doing all possible to accommodate those impacted by these terrible events.
The UK is amongst the largest arms provider and have supplied at least £400 million in aid to Ukraine so far but we need to do more.
In terms of humanitarian support, Ukraine initially requested that people stay close to the border, in the hope of returning home when possible. This is now more challenging and is why it was announced over the weekend that two migration schemes would be established -the Family route and a Sponsor route. The Sponsor route, as I understand, is being developed as we speak which will allow those in the UK to directly support Ukrainian nationals who are fleeing the conflict. I will continue to press for more information on this scheme.
As I have mentioned, I see this as a start but we need to do more - quickly. I am in regular touch with the Home Office, in particular relating to constituents who have a relationship with Ukraine.
The Government has applied sanctions to both the Russian Government and any supporting Oligarchs. The UK has seized, sanctioned or restricted sums that are amongst the highest value of other Western Nations. UK legislation has now allowed us to act is a swifter or even more comprehensive way. This is why Parliament is fast tracking changes to the law to give more powers to Ministers to act.
I agree that we need to go further than the law has permitted up until now.
Please be assured that I recognise the importance and priority. I raised the matter in the House yesterday, to draw further attention to the issues some are facing when applying for visas for the UK
To be clear, I have not received donations from Russian oligarchs. My friend and colleague is a British National and a Ukrainian – who has tragically lost family members as a result of this conflict. It is disappointing that political opponents are seeking to misreport the facts.
This is a time when we need to come together”
And send another email 10mins later
am writing to advise you that I am holding a public meeting to discuss the latest events
It will be an opportunity to consider the challenges and risks faced in Ukraine and across Europe, including the UK and NATO response. We will also consider how best to support Ukrainian families and I will share the latest information on the proposed methods of helping. Local residents with knowledge of supporting families from war torn parts of the world will be present to share their experiences.
The meeting is open to all residents of the ****** constituency and I should be grateful if you would kindly advise me if you are able to make it
I have read somewhere you will still own the shares but they will be moved into a non Isa and dependent on where the new listing goes will determine if you have to sell if them. the gov.website had massive list of permitted stock markets but if they end up on the Russian exchange we are not able to keep them
Poly isn’t even suspended so why would they delist them
I previously posted
Deleted from index and delisting are two different things
Q.What does “the index effect” mean in the investment world?
A: The index effect is what happens when a given stock is added or removed from a major stock index. Remember that companies are routinely added to or removed from various indexes — sometimes because they grow too big or small for the index they’re in, sometimes because they merge with or are acquired by another company, or perhaps because they’ve grown more or less important.
Consider the Standard & Poor’s 500, or “S&P 500,” as an example. There’s more than $3 trillion invested in index funds that track it — so if it adds a new company to its roster, all of those funds will have to buy shares of that stock, and all that buying can send the stock price up to some degree. Conversely, stocks removed from an index can see their prices fall. Typically, though, these spikes or drops are not long-lasting.
If it would be delisted I am sure the headline would of been more brutal and to the point said delisting and the sp would of already dropped massively
I think for now it’s not getting delisted but to know 100% and the future it is impossible unless you the person making decisions at the ftse
They have probably deleted them due to all the Russian affiliated stocks including poly dropping so low and bringing the fste down with all them company’s dropping 90% the bad publicity and the governments bully everyone to drop them in the mean time still buying gas and oil.
It will be back form is temporary class is permanent
I looked at what being removed from index means hope gives some clarity to those unsure

That part I understand but the claims are not proven to be true.
What is true oil companies are financing the Russian war oligarch or no oligarch on their shares they are still directly funding the war.
The only difference is Europe rely heavily on gas and oil and can’t do without so sanctions won’t be imposed bp still own part of the Russian state oil in Rosneft and shell has assists also all still on books with the Russian yet not shifted I see more evidence against the oil companies than Evraz but maybe I am being biased
Evraz will Clear it’s name as government currently pick and choose unlawfully who they sanction their is proof they still buy oil and gas putting cash into Russia funding the war if anything the oil company’s like bp and shell are more liable than Evraz
On this news article Bp and shell will be next for suspension if they claim iron used for weapons.
“Oleg Ustenko, economic advisor to Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, says the UK government's continuing acceptance of Russian oil amounts to British motorists funding the attack on Ukraine.
He tells the BBC: "I am shocked and disappointed beyond words Britain has allowed this to happen.
"This is blood oil diesel. It will be sold for money and that money was used by Putin to buy weapons and ammunition that are killing Ukranians. It is literally true that your purchase of these kinds of oil has killed Ukranian children."
I can’t see it being delisted due to the original suspension appearing to be temporary and wanting to protect investors, though meaning temporary is superficial what I see it as a week or two others could see it as a few months or longer
a delisting would be complete opposite of protecting investors as all would stand to lose
Whilst I understand RA is sanctioned, So too are all here being sanctioned normal working class citizens getting sanctioned for crimes alleged that are not proven, a lot have life savings and future retirement plans invested and many are long term investors who haven’t jumped on the rollercoaster at the last minute whom all have their assets frozen as well.
The government and regulators need to at least not tarnish us all but It is easy for the government to bully the small investors our voices are small and pockets smaller
I read Canada has imposed sanctions on RA but not Evraz operations
“Trudeau held one last news conference in Warsaw this morning, and announced Canada will sanction Roman Abramovich, who holds a large stake in the Evraz steel firm. Trudeau said he believes Evraz's employees and other investors shouldn't be hurt by this move”
Other place says
“ the move won’t effect the Canadian operations of Evraz North America, which supplies much of the steel for the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion“
Maybe is what the government, lse was on about when they where implying assisting Russia and financing russia and it was protecting stakeholders.
The merge would of devalued the company and puts investors out of pocket as none of us can hold Russian shares and it effectively allows putin to cash grab
But I previously posted most countries rely on Russia for gas, oil, wheat and grain along with others and still doing business helping fund the war total hypocrites
Shell only other day was buying a huge amount oil from Russia.
France still has big oil companies doing deals for oils and refused to exit its market and exposure.
Germany was supplying china with military grade microchips who else they been selling too. Uk, Europe, nato and USA all helped Russia develop weapons, pay for them wether directly or indirectly so wording from government reeks of sheer hypocrisy and they themselves have entered illegal wars.
