AFAIK they will have to be closed first. The shorter borrowed PMO shares therefore has to repay PMO shares. After the merger this will not be possible, unless the shorter comes to a specific agreement with the lender to repay HE shares instead.

If you look at share price charts then one option is a 'candle chart'. Shows a 'candle' per given time frame e.g. 10 minutes. The candle is a simple way of showing the opening, lowest, highest and closing prices. The opening and closing parts are solid, the other two are lines, so they look a bit like candles. A red candle shows a price fall over the time frame, a green one a rise.

Green candle, red candle, green candle, red candle...

I see it going up today and tomorrow.

Share price this week is all about the Covenants. My view is that they will be deferred and SP will bounce a bit so there could be some quick money to be made. Place your bets.
