Could also be terrible. People who are happy to pay Tui prices (great brand, good attitude) are going to be very unhappy if they get Ryanair style service. I hope Tui will drive a very hard bargain. Not currently sitting on Tui stock so not sure if I have a right to an opinion here.

Interesting indeed. And for once Mr O’Really (soz that’s what I call him!) keeping his trap shut. He’s always telling whole industry what should/should not happen re consolidation. Best he repaints a few aircraft Tui blue? Can’t wait to see how this unfolds. Could be great.
