We the irish have form in such matters, in taking down apartheid regimes!
"In 1984, 11 workers at a Dunnes Stores supermarket in Dublin began a three-year strike after one employee was suspended for refusing to sell South African goods in protest of the country's apartheid policy. Their actions ultimately led the Irish government to ban imports from apartheid South Africa, the first Western country to do so."
