Someone clearly knows something... my guess is that RBZ have submitted their 'process' to AP and Vast's solicitors and that preparation is underway for the handover. You can decide for yourself how much I am guessing!

My wee portfolio has had a battering recently but I believe that VAST is going to blow those dark clouds away. News on BP production should be out today/tomorrow... and let's see what we hear about those precious diamonds... nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

Great that we're debt-free but no-one will lend to PREM because

1) we're under FM

2) the plant hasn't produced anything yet

3) we don't have a dependable RUS or DFS

I could have added too that there is no certainty that the vote goes GR's way!

It's a disappointing RNS.

1) I guess that we had hoped that Canmax wouldn't walk away but it is clear that they will.

2) The assurances that GR would fund any shortfalls now seem questionable.

3) There are no other parties willing to step in at this stage or GR doesn't like the terms

4) The statement about Stark isn't convincing and the 14 weeks now suggests that this isn't a quick fix

5) Doesn't sound like there has been any production yet so any suggestion that they're ahead is nonsense

6) There will be another share dilution very soon... my guess is that whilst there's a bounce from the lows so far this morning, it will end the day much lower and will drift until the vote. Raise could be done as low as 0.25.

I might see some positive in a few days but this is how it rolls with GR... WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN IN THIS POSITION!!!

I'm an optimist as far as Vast is concerned (at least I try to be) but even I can't see 5p never mind 10p in that timescale. Confidence has diminished... seeing a slightly-dishevelled AP holed up in a Zim hotel is perhaps an accurate picture of the state of Vast! There's a number of subjects which we'll hear about soon so, hopefully, confidence will increase.

Yes, I'd expect to get back to the 0.40s today and high 0.40s by Friday. If the diamond news does drop then we're heading over 1 imho.

Whilst events involving this company have been tragic and farcical at times, I'd hope that they can get this diamond issue sorted real soon. I did think that the need for AP to engage the services of the court sheriff disappointing but, imho, it does give some confidence that the return of the diamonds will happen anytime soon.

Let's hope so... this is a difficult one to keep hold off but there is that adage 'follow the money'. If they're increasing, they don't do it because of some post on bb... they must be confident.

If Toyota are right on those solid state batteries then the range issue will become less but I agree that the rest of the infrastructure just isn't there yet and they're way too expensive... but, it will come!

Mr T - 'mass hysteria'??? Not sure where you're seeing that. The people that I know who have an EV love them. Not for me, quite yet but I'll be giving it serious thought in the next year or 2.

Whether you agree that there is climate change or not, these kinds of headlines and experiences will push more people to switch their cars to EVs quicker... and CLON are perfectly positioned to benefit.

Traders have a disproportionate effect on the sp (either up or down)... low volumes on either side can take shift the sp disproportionately. Some here (like warrenbuffetftse or even yourself?) might be taking the view that there is no news imminent (by that, I mean today or tomorrow) so they sell and look to make money elsewhere.

Up 42% over 6 months and 66% over 1 year looks good OK to me but I'm here for a multi-bagger when the real news hits!

Nookie - I've got some hope that this is going to be my best ever holding... better than Prem even. Things will look quite different very soon, imho.

The JV couldn't have been better timed... demand for Li is increasing and countries in the Li triangle need a more environmentally way of extracting so that they can reap the benefits of their rich assets. CLON have the contacts and NextChem have the brains. PLUS CLON have a very low valuation relatively-speaking.

Ghana - ratification is more likely than ever with the Ghanaians attracting funding.

Either will be transformational for CLON.

Risk/Reward looks very good indeed.

Just to repeat, I'm not one of those who have contacted DH direct but I can't see why an oil exploration company would have to RNS that they're working up potential drill targets... is that not their raison d'etre? Once they have definitive drilling plans, yes, that would be for RNS (and that depends on ratification).

Perhaps, one could argue that, if these targets are in the ratification block in Ghana (which I believe they are) then it could be in an RNS but I reckon the Nomad would have given them short shrift. Quite rightly some things should be in an RNS (so that the market gets the info at the same time) but the Nomad is also there to ensure that the RNS is not abused.

My own speculative view is that DH and co know that the ratification process is underway and are getting ready to start drilling once that ratification is complete. And that's when I think that something gets RNS'd.

I'm not one of the people to contact DH but I wouldn't be surprised if it is not fake news. Things are gaining momentum in Ghana (e.g. Tullow Oil's announcement this morning) and there was this statement on 1st June...

'Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund has approved a $3 Billion Extended Credit Facility Arrangement for Ghana. We understand that major creditors are finally on board. The reform package includes anti-corruption measures, and is intended to expedite the frozen ratification of oil & gas contracts, so as to deliver sustained growth.'

I think DH has been given the nod that Tano's ratification is going to happen soon and that's why they're looking at drilling targets... nothing to RNS yet (or can't get an RNS passed the Nomad!).

AIMHO but CLON is looking very, very promising.
