Dawg/yeah it makes sense,depends on how far it drops. Are the business channels highlighting it where you are? This morning it got a mention on CNBC, but nothing big.

It seems the Magnite drop has abated in the last hour. Lets hope we see a response from the management tomorrow to steady the market

Dawg/ i agree,we are in the right space,but TRMR are in the shade,we need more exposure,to lift the SP, Apart from being the top holding of Schroders small cap fund we are invisible, Thats why a merger with a Nasdaq player makes sense,,i wouldnt be surprised if deals are now being done,,this management is proactive,,watch this space!!

Win/As iam holding LSEG your post was interesting to me..Many of "these boring old companies" are using tech to change, Lloyds Bank is a good example of this(another iam holding),I believe the City will come out stronger after Covid

Dawg/thats no problem,,all stock,I would feel more comfortable in this,if we were bigger,,I would be happy with a merger

Personally i would like to see a merger with all 4 of the dogs holdings,,it would take a lot of the competition away and we would be a nice size, about 7 billion,with a big saving on costs and a Nasdaq listing,,We could call the new company The Dogs Bo!!ocks

Arthur/Radium,,we have been talking about a" marry up" for some time now,,the dog highlighted it a few months ago,,i would have thought the management know each other well,,interesting times ahead

i cant remember ever holding a share where the management have left it this late to give a date for final results,,I am now expecting the date will come with an update,hopefully this week

Baffled/ "Predictable,boring ,unremarkable" not after the restructuring,,our business model with research and development similar to AZN,,,OK we will take the hit on the Divi,,but with interest rates at sod all,,a 2% Divi is still good,,,Buffet says"Theres 2 rules to investing rule 1 Dont lose money,,rule 2 Dont forget rule one" and in this long term you have very little chance of losing money,

In my opinion the Nasdaq is well overvalued,,with some like Tesla and Uber in a bubble,,its because of low interest rates,cheap money,any sign of higher interest rates and it will crash,,big time,,the position i find myself in now is like a few years ago,,i started buying Astra when it looked cheap around £45 i followed it down,to my last buy about £38,,then like a fool i sold out when it reached £49,,but then again, like my brother-in-law who used to be a technical analyst(now retired)would say"what are you worried about you made money on it",,with this i wont be so quick to sell when it goes up to £18

CSD1/i am also a big fan of Peter Lynch,,Peter says he cannot predict the market short term,,day/month/6 months but long term he can make an educated guess based on years of experience,,thats why i dont trade,,i buy and hold,,apart from top slicing and adding,,when the fundamentals change i sell,,My "educated guess" is like your prediction,,thats why short term i hope this goes down to £10,so i can buy more,,i cant see that ,,but it could get down to £11 which would be great,,my advice is to keep buying on the drop

Toff/yes.its pointless having a go at each other really childish,,ive bought this twice in the last few weeks and intend to buy again,,i believe the management will deliver on the transition,,has for other stocks iam holding CVSG(vets),,Lloyds Bank(as i think inflation will come into play,) LSEG(great future)and of course TRMR,,Iam selling down on TRMR and topping up on GSK and LSEG,,right now at this SP ,,GSK is my favourite stock

sussex//i didnt bring up TRMR,,i came on here to sing the praises of GSK,,i just hope GSK goes down so i can buy some more

Toff/BTW ,in the last year TRMR gone from 87p to 576p today

Dawg/my peak holding in this was 181K shares at an average of 232p,,Ive sold 100K of these,,starting at a price of 360p,,then at 10% upwards,,with my last sale being at 632p,,in hindsight it was the wrong thing to do,,its all about risk management,,i will sell a few more on the update/results,,leaving me with 60K shares which iam comfortable with,,,Theres never a sure thing in investing

Toff/i have been investing for 45 years,,i have over 2M invested,,does that sound like an inexperience investor to you? The FT100 is undervalued compared to other indexes,especially in the US,,if you like the other indexes so much why dont you go and invest there?

Win/what Munger is saying is,if you have an investment life of 50 years,,you will only have a few opportunities to invest in the 10x,,20x and if your really lucky the 100x,,for every Microsoft theres thousands that go bust,,the only place to find them golden nuggets,,is in small growth stocks that are under 50M in m/cap,,but of course their the most risky,,also they are not an overnight success they take normally 10 years to mature
