Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi All,
Just wanted to add my 2 pence worth as there's a fair bit of negativity, which I empathise with but dont fully understand.
I'm a LTH and seen plenty of gloom the last 12 months, but we (the world in general I mean) are very close to a BIG BOUNCE, retail like BWNG particularly will see the effect of this bounce, we are a few weeks away from opening up and the UK is VERY well positioned to see some strong economic growth numbers.
Hang tough people, we are definitely over the peak of this dreadful pandemic and this is NOT the time for pessimism in my humble opinion....my Dad gets his vaccine tomorrow and he like many of us have ALOT of pent up demand (money) waiting to be spent....I heard yesterday that uk citizens have an estimated 125 BILLION pounds stuffed away somewhere waiting for somewhere to spend!! I'm sure Bwng will see a fair chunk of that money.
Chin/s up everyone good days are very close and we will see verygood SP rises across most stocks, including this one! GLA and stay healthy, but do stay patient too!
Norm are you re watching the webinar!? (It was good, I dont blame you) and if you're not then he did say that also...I'm more excited than ever after what he said.....wish I had more money to buy even more, but i must have some balance in my portfolio, just in case planes ever do fly again!! (Got more chance of pigs at the moment though I know!)
Just makes me smile and remember the world does has some shiny bits eh
Brad did say that, well recalled Norm, glad someone was listening....I'd forgotten that and that is significant
Uh yeh! That sounds kin awful, covid would look like a picnic compared to that!!
That was my understanding also
Just want to say it's great to read some positivity on this board, not just today just generally.
The world is pretty gloomy, we all know why, but there is a future (sorry this is sounding a bit Disney, disclaimer nothing wrong with Disney BTW, but this is real life) and OMI offers some great returns in my very humble opinion, I'm no expert but also nobody's fool and I fully expect plenty of sunshine for all of us holding OMI.
I think Brad is quite business like and definitely not a "ramper" but I really respect his lack of bull sh... I believe in him and everything the company is doing....
Let's keep our chins up, personally I have at least 2...even when I'm stood up! And keep the faith, and patience....
Spot on Momentum, buy, hold and smile for some years here! ;-)
Fierce1 fear not, 43p will look like great business inside, 12/18 months.
Anza is a huge project that will take years to mine due the bloody massive amount of gold under the ground, I do mean to sound patronising to say that bytheway.
BUT hold your shares as long as you can, maybe add more and really reap the benefits over the coming years, it's all good and Brad confirmed other projects under investigation also I got the impression so its not just ANZA, there will be more gold in other places too!
100% agree with you Norm! Brad said this is a once in a career project...he comes across so humble and non bullish, but you can tell he's a man at total ease with Anza because he jolly well knows what OMI have and there's more than one pot at the end of this rainbow, there's pots for everyone.
Simple advice is this, interested in day trading then bitcoin is your friend, or enemy who knows right? But if you're not impatient and savvy then you'll sit and hold and add where possible to OMi, it is a marathon not a sprint, the rewards will be vast I'm sure of it...half my portfolio in OMI now and I'm VERY comfortable with that level.
Think you're right Rob!! What a mess, apologies....ha ha ha ha ha
Oh I should also like to correct the need to HANG TOUGH bytheway.
I have absolutely no idea what HAND TOUGH?? Any suggestions?? (Perhaps the OMI miners will be hand tough drilling for all that GOLD!!)
HUGE CORRECTION....
THE PANDEMIC DOES AFFECT THE PRICE OF GOLD, IN A POSTIVE WAY OF COURSE!
Please excuse my stupid fat clumsy fingers, dear oh dear....I'm still a bit wobbly from the beers yesterday!!
Hello all,
Sad to see the SP stalling, I think the world doesn't know what to do with itself at the moment with all these mutants changing the world economics, HOWEVER I FIRMLY BELIEVE (And I'm sure Brad will help any fence sitters out there) that OMI is potentially sitting on an absolute HONEY POT in Columbia.
The results are pretty clear from the latest RNS that we are in a fantastic position right now and whilst further drill results are of course necessary to map out everything clearly, I'm certain thos is already mapped out, we just a little more time and patience. If you're day trading, you might get lucky, or not, but anyone who can follow this story for 12/18 months and beyond will be richly rewarded I'm sure. Sadly the pandemic is with us for some time yet, BUT it doesn't benefit gold SP and those looking for it, pretty soon there will be quite a shift in gold SP/miners/OMI...just hand tough guys n girls because we're still at the beginning really, but the future IS/WILL BE VERY BRIGHT INDEED.
GLA
I think that thought holds some merit Webbs.....what's your thoughts on future SP/MCAP, am I way off to think £2+ isn't so far away....I cant really get my head round our incredibly low mcap you see
Theres plenty more on ice, well the f kin cold garage anyway.....here's to you anyway Rob! GLA
O sol O MI o...give it to me delicious, plentiful hi grade gold from Columbeee
(Awfull sorry I've had a beer despite my strong will to resist...I can no longer resist!! Work might have to whistle tomorrow!)
Well IF (AND A BILLION IS A MASSIVE IF) Then my maths, disclaimer warning..my maths isn't tip top, nevertheless a billion mcap would put the SP around the £5 mark, rudimentary calculation being 20 x current mcap, say 50 million, therefore 20 x current SP gives £5+.....I'm not sure that's entirely realistic however, nor am I sure my maths/mcap/sp calculations make sense, but I do firmly believe north of £2 SP would be fair value, particularly with these results which I'm sure everyone has gathered I'm a bit bullish (no not bull s h i t ) about
Thanks Daveri, I meant no harm I promise you.
SP creeping up nicely now....the wider market does indeed need to WAKE UP, as you and others have said countless times before we have such a low market cap, but clearly now that must be re rated at some point...its crazy low tbh
Drill results, not fill results....bliody clumsy fingers me!
