I cant go grey...I've got no hair...dunno what colour the ones on my ar$e are mind you
I'm in OMI too....another cracking company, just need Rolls Royce, SIG and BP to get motoring and Mrs "Steve" can have a new run around which I've promised her for about 3 and half years!!
I'm pretty new, 6 months or so now in GGP, but never mess with stop losses, not for me and advise against them...gold will always go up over time, cracking looking company this.....gutted I wasnt in at the start but I wouldn't be selling bow even if I had been
#DROPTHEBITCOINS time for some REAL GOLD now
Maybe some of the Bitcoin (ARB) Boys will reinvest back here now....they ought to after the killing theyve made there
Yep, mines gone down, still 24p to buy....that'll be higher by days end....glad some normality back here
Maybe Germoloids would have saved you earlier;-)
Maybe Germoloids would have saved you earlier ;-)
Nice...I'm being offered 23.8 to sell, not that I will be selling anywhere south of of 50p....
Absurd the drops GGP has suffered, cant explain it without waffling but the fundamentals never changed....back up we go and not before time!
Well I'm no economist, but.....at least someone shares my confidence! GLA ;-)
Possibly a bit Ninja, sadly mutations were a hot topic/concern yesterday also...giving some negative sentiment.
Happily the UK has very little of the south African variant and the scientists are not unduly concerned over this at this time, the media however typically like to whip things up...mutations are to be expected sadly but Bwng not being too "global's should actually be viewed positively in one respect as the UK economy will bounce back harder and faster than many world economies...particularly if the borders stay largely closed.
Vaccine program going great guns and this will ultimately be the best play to get through this mess.
Imo Bwng is a strong short, medium and long term hold but as we all say DYOR. My thoughts are purely just that and I ultimately have no idea where all this might end, but I am hopeful as the alternative is surely sell all my stocks (and socks for that matter!) and just get insanely drunk for as long as the money lasts as some theorists assume the glass is much less than half empty the way they talk.
Keep the faith people, great fundamentals in Bwng, far stronger than bloo dy Rolls Royce which I'm also in...that could take a while to get going!!
Your opinion is appreciated John, thank you..he and all the elder generation must be sleeping alot better now, I hope so anyway
I think once over 50s are vaccinated too BTW that equates to over 30 million UK residents safer, that's a shed load of cases not to be worrying about being infected hopefully!
(Including my Dad who got his today, soppy sod was crying!) Well relieved he's made it this far too though and I wish we all just get through this now.....sod the stocks TBH, I have family to worry about, as I hope you all do too, that's my priority and we WILL get through this...eventually.
Patience is a very difficult attribute Yoda, I definitely haven't finessed that art yet, but I have improved.
For such a newish investor I'd say you're doing well, FOMO is a curse I know...the trouble is the market has been so volatile during this pandemic it's hard to not see buy/sell opportunities...I've now personally settled in the belief (hope some might say) that the worst is behind us and as MCprice rightly, imho, points out we are due some rerate here and generally in retail.
I think Draft is also right, to an extent, but bear in mind UK is doing so well with vaccines that 'rules' will be tweaked and messaged to allow shops to reopen, come May ALL over 50s WILL BE VACCINATED, they say and given the success so far I believe that.
I do think travel and leisure have many more hurdles to jump however as much of europe is lagging behind us and this will stall their (Airlines, Hotels etc) recovery somewhat which is bad.....as I also hold Rolls Royce, but they'll come back eventually too....I hope!
Nearly 11million people in UK had a vaccine jab now!!
That's ALOT of safe shoppers!!! And most importantly ALOT less death thank god!
Bwng is a STRONG HOLD/BUY imho, today has been a solid day for SP, hope we have some more days like this soon, that would be nice.
Have a good weekend all...
Many thanks Yoda....I'm Steve BTW, if you prefer, but I'll answer to most things!
You're in a great position already, my advice is that keep holding on to whatever you can afford to hold on with if that makes sense. There is no "get rich quick" scheme so investment is and always will be a long term view but timing buying in or selling out, day trading can be rewarding also but risky! I've been burnt being impatient many times in years gone by but I've learnt my lesson and look at the long game not making a quick buck/quid!
There are further handsome rewards I'm sure, but they rarely happen overnight...stay cool and wash those hands you dirty boy! ;-)
Sorry Ninja, I dribble on a bit I know!
But YES, in short 60p is solid imho
My limited understanding is Bwng SP will ultimately be dependent on solid retail numbers, sentiment IS IMPROVING "OUT THERE" it has to considering weve been at rock bottom, I think 60p is cheap considering the likely retail bounce once we unlock, markets move ahead of the game, smart people with smart foresight....
My foresight is laid bare and I can only see upside from here, anything else means covid 19 has mutated again, which it could, that the world shuts down AGAIN!! OH PLEASE NOOOOO!!
That said these pharmaceutical companies are beyond imagination and so clever that they will adapt the vaccines to counteract any mutations...
All will be well.....I say any/all of this having been highly sceptical of where the world is going for some time now but these vaccines and the administration of them are MASSIVE GAME CHANGERS, make no mistake about that.
Plus johnson and johnson are firmly on the same page now also, USA AND UK leading the way....hands, face, space but not for much longer now!!
I agree the online experience needs further development to which a new buyer(?) may well achieve, but do remember (no disrespect intended) that Bwng have a heavy shop front influence also which has clearly been held back significantly, considering this I believe they have acquitted themselves VERY well and the foundations are solid.
Whilst online trade is MASSIVE and SHOULD NOT be underestimated, there is mileage in shops, actual shops with real shopping experiences, Women, sorry ladies, in particular LOVE to shop!
My wife is like a pent up coil spring, my bank balance is a little bit stressed with the thought of her hitting the high street again, god help me/us!
Keep the faith, nice little rise today and we may see this creep up from her to unlock, hopefully anyway so that will offset my dwindling bank balance from the missus!
(Disclaimer to all ladies, I well realise men shop also and my awful suggestion that women are the primary culprits to hitting the shops hard is merely my own sad opinion for which I apologise again, its just my experience that's all, sorry :)
