The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I'm not talking about people dying, more will there be a huge uptake in this from people needing cash or even just thinking, it's better to have a bit more money now all from the result of what has happened.
I know Alpha aren't the only company doing this but it seems like one hell of a good asset class to focus on right now.
My thoughts/opinion of what will happen in the coming days/weeks.
Company acquisition completed and announced this week.
RCF - £50m (Direct asset investment for now)
Total AUM by end of march £350m-£400m. (Including the above two of course)
I think Gobind's had a real reality check as of late and realised he can't just work in his own little bubble as it just doesn't work and investors/shareholders need more confidence.
I honestly think that the AUM will be $350M within the next 4 weeks.
Gobind always said this has potential to be a 100m MC which not only would be amazing for us investors but would show real confidence in the company.
2021 is the year Alpha changes for the better and this month will be the start of it all.
Goes to show that people have faith in this company.
All these new shares and the SP has barely moved and now we have the tr1's showing one guy has taken on a serious chunk of the placing.
Just need a nice update on the acquisition now.
