Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Agreed. A nice steady rise would be great. There's been some decent trades today.
I find it hard to believe that people would have sold off the back of not knowing the difference between two different companies but I guess it does happen.
A big sell that took all day to sort...
For those saying that Gobind should have released a statement. That's ridiculous as it would them just be construed as a weakness or panicking.
I'll be the first to admit that Gobind doesn't care for the daily SP movements but what I do believe, is that everything is going as well as it can and that I'm more than happy with my choice of investment here.
If you're not happy... Sell. It's a very simple process.
Why does this keep happening?
The 500k trade at 8:25am was delayed by an hour but then I've just looked again and now there is a -500k trade.
What's the reason for this? Smoke and mirrors leaving it like that all day or some other reason?
I would be just as happy with 'we are working on X and will update the market as and when appropriate to do so'
I'm guessing that they are also working on other revenue streams right now so hopefully there will be more 'updates' to come and not just to do with the direct investment.
I understood the constant mention of rollovers when we were able to top up our ISA's but what makes you think they are rollovers today?
It's not a term I was familiar with until a few weeks ago on here so interested to know.
Travelman, if you've been invested in alpha for 8 months, you would've bought in at around 1.5p.
The current SP is circa 6.5p. Regardless of dilution that still means your share value has gone from 1.5p to 6.5p in 8 months so I fail to see your point regarding dilution?
If anything it shows how much the value of this company has gone up as even with more shares added, it's still continued to climb.
We're not all like you though Giles! Some of us still have to work :)
Definitely needs to be a more liquid share although as someone who is in it for the long haul, I do quite like watching it having major movements on relatively small trades.
I understand your point but at the same time selling £100k shares to save circa £800 (after 14 sets of selling fees) and the extra time to do it 14 times over is hardly going to be a worthwhile saving is it?
