Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
How do these two markets link?
Are these 2 different entities or same PLC with share spread across markets?
Is there a true link or is it just sentiment that might drive price?
Yeah here too!

Sales are vanity and profit is sanity right?
The income of a % of all sales is perfect. Working at a 10% (ish) margin would be amazing if we had all of the production and marketing costs.
So cutting all of this out and passing these costs onto a company who have much bigger buying power than a small company would have.
So would we want 100m sales and a risk of not converting that or a guaranteed profit figure with minimal head offices costs who mainly see upside upon share price increases.
Seems to me all incentives and risk management are aligned, and yeah the ultimate realisation of this all will be either a sale or significant dividends.
Subbing everything out for a definite profit margin is great news.
More of these deals please!! The share price will follow
Is it AGM Friday and investors forum Monday?
Nothin goes in a straight line right? Should be a nice build and buy the news before the events of Friday and Monday. Then some will dump, but the real value is in the long term .. we all know that.
Multiple launches.. gosh.. nobody is talking about the southern American market size and Korea.. they’ve all gotta be bigger than just the UK..
What would you do if you were CEO?
You’d want the biggest share price possible before you sell right??
Personal situations will lead to some sells… but I see a steady
I think the skills needed to build production plants is very different to what the BOD have now. They are the innovators .. I can’t see them building their own when it can get outsourced.
Worry is that this could be a case of not investing in the mine but the people making the pick axes.
Lombard.and BOD will have their own view of an exit… If they build the right team around them to commercialise this properly steady and strong income would pay them well - Barder’s divs would be very handsome right?? But if Lombard have a 3 year exit plan from the latest buyin they’d push for a sale right??
Buy showing great sales and disti contracts it then becomes valuable to a critically integrated pharma who can manufacture themselves so worth a significant premium??
They’ve outsourced everything pretty much. Which is a sensible way of doing it, the margins are lower but exponentially they can supply massive demand, same will be in America. The disti runs the promo campaign (which means they are going to get a large cut of the £25) but the main thing we need is coverage and big sales. The bigger the sales pipeline the better leverage with the producers. Classic thing in brewing is that a big co comes and buys a chunk to help with distribution and then ultimately buys the whole thing (Bevertown/lagunitas) but really we have distributors signed up right? All the BOD need to do is get the right commercial deals with the best distributors.
Strong UK and EU sales will ultimately help FUM land a nationwide disti in the US. Who no doubt will have connections in contract production.
I think the hockey stick 10 bagger we were hoping for isn’t gonna come. But I’ll agree with other comments on here that a steady influx of national disti agreements and sales data will keep this ticking upwards for quite a while.

It looks like a breakout will happen to me. Fingers crossed - long time holder here! Patterns in trading look like a test of the 41p high back in Jan could be next- but clearly BIG swings hinge on the big news we are all hoping for. Sustained medium level buying hasn’t happened before.. generally it goes doom and gloom and then a hockey stick swing breaks out on big news that is unexpected… we are expecting it now and the 10k buys are flowing nicely…. Smells a bit of buy the build up and sell the event trading from people who know more than us. Good US news followed by EU and UK go live dates would surely be a test of the 75p if not £1 right? Then a bit of nerves around actual adoption and marketing of the product in the real world would see it really kick on.. because let’s be honest no sales have hit the P&L yet!
Gonna be an interesting month! Good luck all
hey I block that Liam guy... If he said anything of any worth can someone else let me know..
it seems to have a range that is has been playing out for a while.. edging up to 48 then dumping. I think the day traders are loving a bit of short term gains.
FUM does seem to do this lately and then just waits for news, jumps then settles down back into a range. They go quiet then drop some good news out, they did the 2m raise at 40p and now waiting for the US approval to hopefully sustain a bit of momentum to get people on board to take us towards 60 and above
Seems like it closed early due to the high uptake.. I take that as a positive sign !
I did open that door but did a sharp U turn!
I use this as info rather than to get involved. Tbh I'm fairly new to investing. so don't have a hell of a lot to add!
I got in 1 year ago, added then sold then added. I believe in the product and hope with a bit of luck it'll kick on somewhat.
Hey all, even for a few years this board has been a bit of a minefield of people pushing their agendas.
The best thing I found was the filter option at the top of the board, you stick people like Liam in that and you don't see his messages! Amazing right? Peace and tranquility and the ability to find the useful posts much better.
Happy Monday x
A complete newbie here - so be easy , this board can be brutal no?!
Last 2 SP highs have been the day of an RNS linked to a price monitoring + extension... then the price drops quite afterwards.
What would be the cause of this? and is this going to happen this week also?
