Yes Knowbodyyouknow- I read is as turnaround pre Omicron hit, the RNS was well worded (for once) I think. Clearly COVID now is off the table (touching wood, fingers crossed etc).

On reading, I think they did well putting in the RNS that all was going well until Omicron hit (which we know was temporary, and would have caused an impact on sales). Good comms.
Let's hope the market continues to read it this way, lots of people will be buying Ted stuff for occasions.

M&A takes time, and it could happen at any time, as we won't be privy to this info.
Any concrete rumour causes a jump (if a favourable one of course).
You won't get advance notice unless on the inside- so if you don't hold stock, you miss out.

But what should they say?
If they had said and some thought, interest rates go up .5 in March- gold and stocks would have dropped a lot...

The common denominator is us, humans. This is why I have always been against nuclear and all disarmament- it only takes one bad human to rise to power and we'd all be doomed- but that's just my view as a human.
We spend billions killing off any virus that could threaten us- and yet it's just nature trying to cull the biggest threat to the planet, humans...
Our survival instinct is no different to any other organisms and our desire for humans to force their view and will on others has always existed and always will.
Anyway, back to the markets- at least the FED minutes didn't hold any nasty surprises... hopefully Ukraine will abate- there is zero common sense in the action here, but when we will always have leaders that won't feel the impact of what they do, who knows... the most dangerous are those who just want to leave a mark and create history, whatever that is...

Am down a big slug here so for me it's an easy hold- wrote off the money a while ago- but I do think things will now get interesting as the pandemic is pretty much over, the results are soon, the web platform will be soon, and the brand has survived despite the headwinds- sure inflation is in play, but post pandemic people are desperate to attend events, and Teds price point is strong here and the brand remains strong.
