Who knows lol- I remember so may people
claiming bitcoin and crypto is finished should botcoin drop 18,000usd- we’ll it went to just below 16,000 and only a few months later it’s above 28,000, othe coins pretty much mirroring- and had risen when gold has risen- further evidence against the gang who hated it cos they though it took money from gold which i continually had to batter away- the press is littered is with experts on gold price surge - should it fall it will be littered with so called experts claiming a further big drop is imminent - things can only go up or down so everyone has a good chance of being right 50%!of the time lol… as always- in the short term term there is only one game in town, the FED… like i’ve said, banking crisis- what crisis, 3 separate issues not contagion, regulation brought in post 2008 working- and there will always be some issue following a rapid tightening…. place your bets for this week- good luck all

FTSE 100 up ~25%

US inflation was around zero at the time he took over, then rose to a peak of about 9% and last figures show it at about 6%.

Damn inflation...

Interesting on the back of gold up ~21% and silver up ~50% on same timeframe.

Yes Tony- that’s what i’ve seen happen in the past- and more recent past, crypto also gets whacked , also something i’m not seeing, in fact the reverse this week

I'm not saying gold won't go past 1950 but it's not a banking crisis- if it was, like the last one, gold would get whacked just like everything else...

I disagree Tony- all it confirms is that 50bps is off the table, and 25bps is now even in threat- that's all - nothing else...

I do agree Mr T- whatever happened to performance related pay, linked to SP? SP was about 130 when he was appointed...

Well they probably take the view that a debt facility was announced to pay for growth which was good in my view, but they cut divis despite production up (to pay for more growth??? or what???) with inflation heading south, cutting divi on this background doesn’t inspire confidence in their belief - especially when some costs will deflate i would have thought like energy… as i said before, i would like to see a more aggressive stance on future aisc reduction -

Lol Mr Bond- who knows- where the SP is now is what Id have expected after the RNS but not how it’s got there today! As for Kitco and others, they don’t know much more than us- most are
like football analysts after a game- if a team near the top top wins a game 1-0 with only 1 chance to score- they say “sign of a good team, taking chance and winning - league winning form”, but if they lose 1-0 with only making 1 chance they say “you cannot expect to win a league by only making 1 chance- poor football” lol

An open of 107.2, a low of 101.95 and a high of 109.95 so far (all in less than 1 hour)...now 109.65 as I type- off out now, too fast for me lol- enjoy ...
