Although I do, I still like to understand the rationale behind it- for example "sell signal" didn't state due to technical analysis- it just said "sell signal".
If your technical analysis says "sell signal" I would like to understand on what basis- else anyone reading it just has to take your view without understanding the basis for your view.

Based on what?
I prefer to to see people's rationale- not just sell signal, 96.5p etc :-), also why would you buy @96.5 if the SP dropped to it?
EG gold will retrace to "n" due to "y" by "h", the UK indices will drop to "X" due to "z" by "h", CEY will drop to "F" due to "g" by "h" etc etc... At the moment, no data released has made me alter by position since I posted early Friday pm.

There are no sell signals, just economic data (in the absence of company specific data) that drives gold and the SP.

There was no "had to" about it. It's funny how chartists forget when it's doesn't happen and pipe up IF it does- the tealeaves lol- the volatility was very good over the past few days and great opportunity to make money- the data points made profit making possible, not the chart- had I listened to the charts I'd have made nothing as it was the same now as it was- so, as I say, the charts are useless for trading, this is more clear, up to date demonstrable evidence, that it is worse than flipping a coin.

Plus the banks plus Michigan @15:00...

You can't link a drop in gold % to drop in CEY %- nothing works like this, there are way more factors involved. And these factors increase when the gold price is on highs(ish)... Of course, most of us traders exited now for the weekend, especially has yet to open, plus it's a Friday- US retail drop just released is "fogged" by fuel like earlier in the week... button to go back in is always at the ready though to see if the front end drops when US opens, despite the odd being marginally against it.

But my point is that the charts remain a complete coin flip- the vast majority of traders lose money and the vast majority use charts. I've used several trading platforms over the years, and the millions of people who post chart data is endless- all that happens is the vast majority lose- it's worse than flipping a coin. As I said before, algos are way more advanced than years ago, it's a simple way to mop up all the money from the chartists... I repeat, worse than coin flipping...

The data creates the charts NOT the other way around

Forget all that- US CPI data in a few mins ago, that’s why gold has now risen up to 2027 as I type plus markets up…

No one can predict events but anyone can interpret charts- so if charts are correct, why isn’t everyone millionaires??? I say it’s cos events make SPs and charts just reflect the events …
