Yep and gold has risen since the - so what does this tell you? It tells you exactly what I said…. Inflation and lack of deflation is hitting miners

We just in line with most(not all but most eg barrick, newmont etc) others past month- eg down about 15% past month. Gold down past month and costs still rising as inflation stickier than anticipated and expected deflated cost items not deflating as quickly either

And now gold/silver down... commentary pointed to US growth etc hence drop, but US today was back to hike not stall(that was yesterday lol)... Initial jobless tomorrow but of less importance now, CPI next week key.

We’re not waiting for anything, just doing what is reflected in there economic indicators that drive gold up or down (outside of any expected RNS of course)

I'm out and waiting... been trading it as normal earlier in the week but not easy with the small movements. Need my predicted accelerated inflation drop and ensuing FED reaction; and/or news on CEY via RNS- for me next data drop 13th June... data today not great, and a bit confusing to say the least.

Unfortunately it’s like all stats- there is never CONSISTENT context. Eg let’s make up a country and call it BONKERS. I would like a statement to say “BONKERS increased their gold purchasing in 2022 by “x % over previous year and now at levels last seen since x” - here is a graph of BONKERS gold purchases and selling over the past 20years. Another line on the chart I would like to see is overall gold purchases and selling over past 20years by NATIONAL BANKS all lumped together- if BONKERS purchases/selling is too insignificant a simple % would be suffice eg BONKERS now represents 0.008% of worldwide purchases …

It’s just a game and will never happen.

The US has kept its financial commitments since 1789 by paying its bills on time. Congress has prevented default 78 times. Of course they will sort it- it’s just a game.

Best way to play this stock- trade it.

I live in free will world Mr T, you create your own restrictions- I work within the system that exists to make money and don't bother looking at things I'm not interested in investing in (although why you persist in gold mining is not bad for planet, I've no idea). Also, no idea why you are obsessed with crypto- it's not going away not matter how much you want it to- just chill and ignore it, or invest... the choice is free will- glad not in your world where it is banned.

I trade CEY to make money, I trade crypto to make money, it's as simple as that for me. I have no loyalty to these things, and work with whatever system them live in- it's that simple to me. I don't take an irrational position against assets, and trade what I think can make me money.

I like to live in a world of free choice, and markets, and things should not be just "got rid of" because you disagree with it- the markets and consumers, which we are all part of, decide and this is how it should be in a democracy.

Computing power will continue to increase exponentially as will the costs reduce compared to need and use.

Just like the amount of computing power in your smartphone compared the computers of a few years ago- exponentially greater power and less consumption.

Gold mining is bad for the environment, however you try to justifying it and not necessary- just the need for shiny stuff.

To say GOLD MINING is necessary is untrue.

Come on Mr T- playing an environmental card when you hold a physical mining stock... the words, complete and hypocrisy... and greenhouses, glass and stones spring to mind...

Nope- I just provide an alternate view to the "bashers" for balance, I comment on CRYPTO (not just BTC which is one, albeit the highest market cap).

Power consumption is and will continue to be addressed whereas damaging the planet by digging huge holes for shiny stuff won't- nutty argument point.

Usual lazy article from Kitco, who'd believe they are pro gold lol, and to think they get paid for this type of thing :-).

He'll do anything to try to dissaude those people who think crypto is digital gold which, of course, it isn't. For an asset (BTC in particular), that is up 48% in the past 6months, and down about 3% calling it a "tumble" is bizarre...
