Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Wents I'm going to go for low 4's or possibly just below. There's no major assay results expected and with EH obviously having been shelved, if it hadn't of been shelved we would have had a progress report by now, everything is relying on an AA deal and that is a long way from being delivered. You only have to look at the BHP and OZ Minerals deal that has stalled and let's not forget that AA are in control here, they could take UFO out for 60 million so Alien are in no position to make crazy demands over royalty payments. Imagine if either party walked, the markets would slaughter the sp no matter how hard UFO polished that type of news. Even if they said they walked because they believed the royalty payments did not offer share holder value they would be crucified.
@Max the MorningStar article is tosh. There is no exclusive agreement been signed with AA, there is a HUGE difference between signing a deal that delivers the money in the bank and signing an exclusivity agreement to enter into discussions to get a deal done. The article is extremely misleading which is putting it mildly.
I have never read such nonsense as in that MorningStar article. They are claiming that the agreement with AA has been signed which we all know it hasn't. There is no deal agreed on anything yet, the exclusivity 60 day period hasn't even started yet and may not begin until the start of 2023. Talk about misleading this article takes the top spot. Honestly guys there's no need to keep posting nonsense there's no off take agreement signed, there's no advance payments agreed, or anything agreed on royalty payments. It's articles like this that raise the expectations of mug punters and lead to the company looking like they haven't delivered when we all know that nothing is yet to be agreed.
On another note this rns does clear up any argument regarding the 60 day exclusivity agreement not having started yet and it does move the focus away from the lack of activity taking place at EH despite the money spent on the mine head equipment.
Wents I tend to agree with much of your sentiment but misled is debatable. I think the big problem is that some are still making out that a deal has been done with AA which clearly is not the case, exactly the same as some saying the sp had reached its bottom point, even I thought it had bottomed out, although I'm pleased my buy order the other week didn't get filled. Give it another few weeks and it might be worth another try in the mid 3's.
So judging by the below next news could be March 2023... LMAO
"Currently, IOCA and AA teams are working closely to finalise all the necessary documents and reports so that both parties are comfortable that the official 60-day Due Diligence period may commence. Both teams are working towards this for the end of the year to also tie in with other permitting and scheduling for 2023 mining operation commencement."
Anything other than a deal done will crucify the sp. Lots won't agree with that but I've seen it so many times before. Markets do not react well to time extensions, the only time I've ever seen it work the other way was when an unnamed major oil company paid top dollar for exclusive access to a minnow's data room, they then walked, no deal done and sp collapsed. Yes this is different but any extension or AA don't agree with what's being offered and they walk, it won't matter how hard UFO polishes that terd it won't shine and they can say there are another thousand potential partners looking and waiting, that won't mean jackchit unless a deal is signed. Its crux time now and the BOD need to prove they are worth what they get paid.
So if 2.7 is fair then there's going to be a lot of savvy ppl selling into any decent news, as the guru says by on the rumour and the dips and sell on the news, I'm sure plenty will be doing that so for those who crazily bought on the news, you might have to wait a little while longer to get your money back because IMHO I think the sells could well takeover if a decent rns drops.
AA or not AA, so who knows but if the deal is done what does everyone think it will do to the sp, will it push it to the. . 85 and beyond and if the deal is not done fir whatever reason how crippling will it be to the sp. IMHO I thing the downside will be more dramatic than the up.
Silver a lot of assets aren't JORC compliant and although it's accepted that we're sat on a few quid until we have an industry recognised estimate of our assets I don't think we would get anywhere near fair value for what we are sat on. Perhaps that makes us an easy target for a low ball offer to take us out and I think there could be a few who would accept any offer between 1.6p and 2p per share at the moment apart from those who buy in on the rns news spikes.
It's funny how Mexico was number one for ages, then EH, then Han and Brock and now Muni. Its like some keep kicking the projects down the road. We simply cannot keep all the plates spinning, we've got no income yet only outgoings so rather than bang on about unlocking Muni which is huge and will cost 10's of millions to develop can we just focus on generating income to start with. Nothing is happening at EH despite the money spent on the mine head gear, if something was going on we'd have at least been told its been successfully fitted, I'd love to be wrong on that but I've certainly not seen an rns to confirm that it has.
Silver has a long way to go before it breaks the first resistance point, hopefully when that happens we'll be able to say that UFO is a mining company with JORC compliant estimates on what's in the ground and not just an exploration company. There's a long way to go, first up they need to get the AA deal over the line. The majority think that's a done deal but let's see what happens time is ticking and if either party walks they had better have some other news to soften the blow. The Mexico JV that never happened had a real negative effect on the sp, just imagine what would happen if this potential deal collapses for any reason. Feet firmly on the ground I'm not in fantasy £1 per share land, let's crack the penny first. GLA
I'm loving this, patience is being rewarded. A few more days of turmoil and ppl will be able to buy in below the last placement price especially with a little more help from Truss and Kwasi :)
Happy - No matter what is said on here or who says it hidden behind some made up name, the sp does its own thing regardless of whether ppl pump it to high heaven or have a different view. Chris can say what he wants as can Max and various others would I invest based on either of their thoughts. Hmmmm no chance, Chris actually posted some interesting stuff recently on ore price predictions did it change my view..... no, in the same way that some keep saying RNS Thursday...... as if us keyboard warriors are told in advance that a big rns is about to drop. Keep it real ppl, our time will come. Big news on Monday :-) lol
Getrichslowly totally agree patience is always rewarded, I sold a load here the other week on the little spike made a tidy few quid but I'm not rushing to buy back until all these new shares come out. Sill got my LTH but it's nice to play a trade into half decent news which I intend to do a few more times yet before lumping the lot into one larger LTH.
Anyway we will see how it pans out soon enough but as for today........ that big buyer must be back again by the look of it :)
Be over 5 billion shares in circulation next year, so at 2.7p that puts some market value to the business if it ever gets close to fair value. And some ppl are holding out for double digits, 10p a share a half billion pound business?
