Think the over reaction was this morning. A lot of recently bias to one RNS ignoring what has been going on before it (,Shorts not going away etc etc) Now Mr Market has had time to think the traders are taking profits.

That's all over true Mr Stock. But as I said in my earlier post, if it is true, and I take on board your point about no retraction, they could have been buying for a while now and are hovering under the threshold waiting to see how earning play out.

Let me walk you through it as you seem to be struggling with a basic concept.

Sparta is a rumour for now. No one knows if it's true or not. But let's say it is true and they are active. We don't t know how long they could have been buying for. Could have been MONTHS are far as anyone knows. Does it take that long to go over the TR1 limit unless they are WAITING until after earnings to see what happens to the SP. If it tanks they then buy more to take them over the reporting threshold which would give an activist move leverage

And as I said, if it is factual they are getting involved then maybe they are waiting for earnings before they reveal themselves and their intentions.
