Think those with a less excitable temperament said yesterday it just the way THG trades.

We are in a 55p - 62p range and have been for a while.

It always goes randomly up and down by big amounts. Always has. There is no pattern to the way it trades or technicals you can follow. Can just as easy be down by 8% tomorrow.

Don't get over excited by one day of movement.

Can you get any further up there Matty? Pretty soon you will be able to see SP28 boots.

No one needs to talk the share down. Moulding is doing a good enough job on his own.

Would be a good assignment for someone at the FT to find out what the Apollo offer really was. Would think they would be only too happy to find out if the Mould was doing his usual job of over inflating.

No idea Oke. Think we need to wait for the listing review. But the company does keep saying they awaiting the results of the listing review for some reason. Could just be an excuse for waiting so long to drop the GS. But who knows with Moulding. Guess we will all find out in the next few months

Here is my own conspiracy theory....

Maybe all this erratic behaviour on LinkedIn isn't as crackers and self defeating as it looks.

Maybe he is gaslighting his shareholders. Setting up the media and hedge funds as the "Enemy" and denigrating PE firms, so that once the listing review is done and it throws him a lifeline to keep control, he can say to shareholders "I need this control to save you from the enemies who undervalue the company and want to buy it on the cheap (Notice how it hasn't been revealed what Apollo offered so we could judge for ourselves).

I have always wondered this and mentioned it a few months ago. This "We are awaiting the results of the listing review"....why?

That review is looking at making the LSE more friendly to owner founders. Things like duel class share structures if my memory serves. Knowing that the Mould likes the control aspect I wouldn't be at all surprised if he is hanging on in the hope of something beneficial to him and his need to keep control of the company

It's only like people on here who assume that if you don't worship at the cult of Mould you are a paid deramper working for a hedge fund. What's the difference?

We always get asked to disclose our holdings. Apparently if you don't t hold enough shares you cannot have an opinion....or something.

He is only trying to project away this terrible SP performance caused by him not wanting to give control to PE and missing targets.

I still say Moulding is SP28. It all fits.

When these bid situations start we always read that multiple parties are looking but they never seem to materialize.
