Unless this starts dropping drastically including dividends, kintbury is going to be millions out of pocket. Would suprise me if they took another position today.

Leered, If a tradesman makes £250 a day it’s usually because they are working on price as hourly rates in the building trade for self employed people are riculously low. £250 a day isn’t exactly a good wage IMO and if people start making less it just drives trades out.

The prices builders pay most trades is ridiculous and the prices I get I was getting the same prices in 1998. Would you go to work now for what was being paid in 1998!

I know bricklayers are looked after as far as pricing goes but if they have to do day rates I know of lots of people who only get paid £12.15 an hour so it creates a situation where the self employed don’t want to help for day rate wages.

Just been having a workout of how successful Kintbury short has been and using google finance. Dating back to January I think they are down on ever short at today’s prices.

That is 1.05% of their short which is £42m in they need a huge drop to wipe out all the missed dividends and what must be a big interest bill? How long can these companies hold these shorts till they are told to settle up as if this doesn’t crash after the budget I think we may be at a new bottom.

Crossley, Not moving on till this has reached over £20, It’s already about 20p lower than what I sold at but gaining 50 shares for a £110k trade doesn’t seem good value.

Can’t put my money in Aviva as they are virtually at their peak, I doubled my money in aviva when I bought for £2 during Covid and sold for £4.40 but looks like I would of been better to of stayed with them.

I don’t think she will do anything to help businesses and as it stands at the moment the share always drops after a rise, Also there is someone sitting either a large short that they must be confident this will drop.

Temped to jump out until after the budget? It’s just how much more will this rise before an inevitable drop.

I knew persimmons rns would be positive, I’m surprised TW wasn’t as positive. I’m sure there will be some negative point in that rns that the big players will pick up on to drop the price today.

Release an RNS to say a director has bought 142 shares. Do they think it will give confidence to people buying that the director found some money in a pair of trousers they wore last weekend and forgot the money was there.

I have been saying for two years this is a buying opportunity and look where we are. Other stocks I was wanting to purchase into have rocked up so hanging on to this rising has realistically been a bad investment.

The only reason I never moved on as you never know which share will rise first and unfortunately for me it was the financial sector I was wanting to put my money in so now I’m in here for the long haul.

Crossley. doesnt affordable housing just mean smaller properties. I know when persimmon redisigned sites to allow for smaller houses the plot of lad actually made more money as a plot that was supposed to hold a 4/5 bedroomed property got replaced with three small terraced 3 story properties which generally tend to sell quite quickly.

I’m more interested in the ones from persimmon and wimpey. I think they will be positive so hoping for a small rise for a change.

No way the government will even manage 1.3m homes. They want to think themselves lucky if they build 1m during their parliament.

I didn’t realise the trading updates were so soon, I think they will be positive on sales. There has to come a point where the share will rise.

Denby it’s over two weeks away before they pay the dividend and I’m hoping to of successfully traded this a couple more times by then and if not it was still a good price.

I actually decided to try trading this share at the moment as I had a bit of spare cash. I watched it change nearly 2p yesterday and I’m happy with making that if I can.

I think I caught the bottom so far which was £1.063 and I’m quite happy to sell the lot at a 2p rise if it happens and if it doesn’t I have 75k shares will go up and pay a

In the north and it’s really busy up here, I work for a plastering company and they have about 40 housing sites in the area and it’s seven days a week for the tapers.

Christofer, I don’t have as much waiting to go back in here as you but on Friday I sold £80k worth. I sold a day too early for its best price but the way the share is dropping I’m happy to of sold.

Just have to see how my nerve hold up for re entry.

Ex day was 9th October so selling now makes no difference to a dividend payment.
