Moneyboy5000, If BP dropped to a £1 I would sell all my RDSB shares to get as many BP shares as possible with my money.

Didn’t realise next thursday was EX div day, so definitely going to tank on Friday.

Not selling mine for a couple of year or unless PSN drops to low £20’s then they are gone

Barrie, Head nail on, I have said for a year there is far too much choice to make money, if I had invested my money I put in big oil in some of the other stocks I own I would have thousands more profit. I just bought into big oil for the dividend and knowing the price was low but if I had played the game properly I could of sold out of other stocks and bought BP/Shell and had far more shares. Investing is a learning curve for me and the slow rise doesn’t really bother me as none of my stocks are in the red.

I won’t be selling till I have took at least a couple of years dividends or until the price rises to at least £20. Big oil are my worst performing shares, nearly all my other stocks are at about 70% profit and above.
It just looks like big oil will be the long game which isn’t a bad thing if you don’t need the money as it gives you more opportunity to buy more at lower prices.

At my firm you buy shares over a three year period with a large discounted share price of current value. Nearly everyone sells the shares as soon as they mature but the ones who don’t cant claim any dividends until they hold the physical shares for one year. Most of the lads use it as a savings scheme as they can’t loose more than they put in but they can reap the gains.

At the moment there are too many shares to invest in, I have my eye on a few penny stocks but no cash to put in them at this time.

Judging by how poor big oil is moving it would not surprise me if the rise is small

Quite a few million pound and over buys after hours so share price will definitely be higher on opening

Most are around the £3 mark so looks like it’s opening higher again tomorrow morning.

Their view hasn’t changed and it’s still showing 310 as best price for the month.

But the share price is 295.3

According to the charts on investing.com, they only have a top of £3.10 for the month.

Both as bad as each other at the moment.

Boyobach, I bought on a rising share last May and watched it crash again in October so predicting the bottom is very hard if not pure luck. I'm still happy with my share price but big oil is a terrible share as compared to the rest of the market. Even the airlines have rose more than big oil
