GETINTHERE, that’s an excellent post for me and very helpful.

I dived in with a small punt at closing but my plan is to sell my card factory shares and buy into something that’s stands a chance of being a double bagger? Is this the one for me?

I have been watching this stock for a while and think adding a mining stock to my portfolio would be a good idea. I have already missed the rise on kodal so was hoping this one may have some legs later this year? I know today’s price is a good price but only if it will move up.
I read about some of there debt but the firm still looks positive? It’s virtually a coin flip for me this or Alien so is wres better?

Was nearly there today and that’s with bad news from USA and when most stocks are down.

34adsasddsa, So you think the dividend will never return? the company has never said what will happen next year so there is nothing to read.

They may be moving to use green energy but they are still an oil major and make their money by that, most or all big firms have to start going green and BP have pushed a little further with wind turbines but they still make billions in profit from oil and will continue for years.

The dividend has only risen 1c but has actually dropped due to better pound so not really a time for excitement. As long as both BP and RDSB return to full dividend next year is a good enough hope for me.

affmaead, dividend isn’t free money as you don’t have to invest it and it’s taxable once over £2k so definitely not free. I didn’t reinvest my last PSN dividend and chose to spend it buying a 4K projector which did actually feel free as I didn’t have to take any money out of the bank ??

I sold some of my PSN holding last year, I still think I did the right thing just ,y timing was awful as I would of definitely sold some PSN at £32 and I would of had more RDSB share at this price point. I won’t sell any more PSN shares now till they go over £34.

Yahoo finance is a little optimistic but they have the price for a year as £2.13, be nice if it did.

Even if you bought in for say £2 surely your going to reinvest the dividends so your average price has to rise. I know my average will be in the £4’s in a few years after reinvesting mine.

Big oil is taking its time to rise, I sold a load of persimmon shares at £26 to buy more RDSB shares at £10. I worked out there was more money to be made that way? Since then persimmon has risen loads and oil hasn’t, my timing wasn’t ver well thought out.

Why so late to the party? It’s still a low price historically for RDSB.

I was tempted to sell yesterday when I saw 96p. Everything I have sold out of recently has risen loads after it so decided to hold.

It closed a penny less today as compared with yesterday’s close, that’s a pretty normal trading range.

Investing .com has this share reaching £16.14 in the next month on their charts

I’m not too bothered if the share price rockets up this year or next but a return to full dividend would be more appreciated that way I can buy even more cheap RDSB shares.
