Given the announcement will (should) cause a re-rate, it makes sense not to release RNS over Xmas period. Also last RNS (11th Dec) said Q1 for finance completion.

I'm also in both, although only returned to HZM recently. Up in both but less than 10% at the moment.

Ah - just read the other reply. Looks like it is creeping back up to parity.

Close was 0.0739 and first trade was 0.6.

I don't it was the comments about the disastrous situation for the LTHs in the last few years that generated the reaction. That part is plainly true to everyone.

The responses were regarding the obvious lack of research about the future prospects

I would be more concerned if L2 didn't suggest a lot of price-rigging going on. People are buying and then the ask drops. They buy more and the ask drops again. Right now there are several buys at 0.335 and then the next buys are at 0.334. The opposite of a normal trend.

Occasionally there is a buy above that trend (just one now at 0.337) but then the ask drops again. All very odd.

Lombard can't sell in the first 90 days after placing and only (paraphrasing) sensible sells in the 90 days after that.

Just to add to that, if the company performance under the previous CEO hadn't been so bad, I would probably not be buying in. Its the current market cap vs potential that makes this such an attractive investment.

Although short-term drops like today can be annoying :)

I've no idea. When I buy into a new company I do absolutely no research of my own. I just hope other people tell me what to do.

BTW if you don't know the share price based on a copper price of $4, how do you know the company will be as 'dead as a dodo' below $3.5?

Watching L2 this morning, the buys massively outweigh the sells, yet the ask keeps falling (based on dummy buys) so most buys look like sells. Maybe someone is creating a lot of limit orders below the MM ask and gradually moving it down. Low volume as you would expect at this time, but price movement is still odd.

As Victor Meldrew has returned with the daily doom and gloom forecast, I thought it would add some balance to have a more positive countdown. According to the last RNS on December 11th:

"We are on track for the principal outstanding Ethiopian Project financing-related matters to be completed in the coming weeks, with financial closing and the start of development planned for Q1 2021"

So we are 93 days (or less!) away from either finance, or confirmation we are actually off-track.

The 0.34 was a buy of 19k shares. Probably fat finger syndrome on a limit order :)
