I've not criticising here because this applies to a lot of people, but I have never understood why the buy price has any relevance when deciding to hold or sell. You have an asset that the market currently values at X and you are deciding whether the price will rise or fall from that point. The fact you bought at some point in the past when the market valued the asset at Y seems to be irrelevant to the current decision.

The Bushranger RNS tend to come out between 10am and 12noon, rather than at 7am.

I also came out of SOLG at a similar time for similar reasons (and put the money here).

6 months ago I might have agreed with you. However, events (and evidence) have moved on since then or I wouldn't be invested. I'm not trying to persuade anyone and I don't want to start ramping other shares on the COBR board. I am simply saying it is worth spending some time on researching KEFI, especially recent events and presentations. Then you make an informed choice.

Bear in mind, we are really in the detail on this stock and understand how each RNS relates to all the others. If you read this RNS stand-alone, it isn't going to make you rush out and buy XTR shares. Probably just sell on news, but volume is only 4m today so no major reaction either way.

It would be really useful to know at what depth they passed through the core, but that would provide a reasonable estimate of total width (height?),

Its a nice problem to have that there are so many promising opportunities among small cap miners at the moment. Choices, choices!

I'm in both COBR and XTR as I am not sure which will jump first :)

My other main holding atm is KEFI. Many delays in the past (and therefore a lot of scepticism) but it looks like the major rerate is on the cards in the next couple of months. Finance for Ethiopia in March and resource upgrades in Saudi. Even the pessimists on the KEFI forum seem to be getting excited :)

I rarely cross post but I thought it was worth mentioning. Obviously, do your own research, as those jurisdictions are a lot higher risk than Australia.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant, in general what is the process - not specific to Cobra. I assume a company cannot simply state a JORC resource. Do they have to present evidence to some central body and, if so, what is in involved in that? Or can a geologist working for the company with the right qualifications do it instead?

They are just setting expectations on when drilling results will be released. It's hardly a negative RNS to say there has been a 1-day delay due to mechanical problems but we are back on track now.

Yes, that is a good point.

Just noticed volume is pretty low today. Average for last 10 days is 50m shares traded. Today it is just 10m. I think people are taking their positions in this now, without a lot of trading going on. Price is moving around, but with such low volume is doesn't indicate very much.

The best option with H-Hi is simply to filter him. He is purely interested in de-ramping or being disruptive and there is no point trying to have a logical discussion with him as he just trying to provoke a reaction. The best way to deal with attention seekers is to ignore them. Eventually he will just get bored go and annoy someone else.

Yes, he definitely said that. TBH I am a little surprised he put a figure on it while we are only on the second drill hole and we don't even know the gold content. I wonder if that was the target when they started and he quoted it on that basis.
