Markets have gone positive for the day. Turmoil in the middle east isn't new FFS.

The main reason KEFI delayed was due to kidnaps and civil war inside the country. Security was a mess. That is categorically not the case now and the government is invested in the project and security.of the site. Complete nonsense to suggest a non existent conflict that far away is having any effect, it's not. The market is a bit choppy due to harry missing deadlines as per (that he set himself).

Hopefully that will correct this week.

You keep saying Harry can't resist an RNS. You know that's not how it works. They can't time them, there are strict rules which TBF to Harry, he does semi adhere to. RNS aren't just things they can choose to release timing wise. They will be issued when the news is done.

Middle east isn't affecting here, if anything it's pushed the NPV up with the gold price.

It's dropping again because Harry has missed another deadline he set on himself. I have no idea why he has continually done that for years. It never pumps up the share price and always does damage when it's missed. In the long term it's irrelevant but it damages the credibility of other statements and makes the market doubt anything else said. Hence why the share price hasn't raced ahead given the mine is definitely being built.

Long term it probably doesn't matter but god it's frustrating that Harry seems to never learn his lesson here.

We have people who claim they aren't bothered by the share price because long term holders seeking dividends at 8p and above yet make up nonsense like (IG has gone NT) or iceberg bidders and obsessed with minute share price movements.

Volume is low so share price will drift until news. Making up stuff and conspiracy theories are just a collosal waste of time yet it's literally all this forum is bar a few nutters claiming a looming war.

That pool of IIs that can buy directly on AIM market is tiny and won't be buying on significant volume. Venture capital etc would be doing it via private equity like chancery etc. The move to the main market is needed, AIM just isn't allowed anymore due to so many frauds in recent years. It's a bit of a pain so I don't see that as a great impetus to rerating right now.

We've had this discussion before Stebo and I think you're half right. A rerate would from here be fuelled by institutions but I don't think the 100 percent finance all done is the starting gun. The finance is done, there's no chance of that failing so they would already been coming in. The issue is being on AIM, hardly any institutions have mandates that allow them to buy aim stocks anymore even ones with good governance and clearly not fraud. It's just blanket bans in most cases. This is why I think you're right but not about the trigger, the trigger will be the move to the main market. Noises are being made to escalate that to this year (which I think is incredibly optimistic) but as soon as that happens it'll get the institutions in on the whole. Right now, a rerate may still happen based off retail investors it's just more difficult given scale involved. That said we got here based off retail and a few big holders so don't discount that effect yet.
