I should add, the HNWI also gains options to buy more shares at a much lower price upon purchase of the higher priced ones. I'm pretty sure someone willing to fork out that sort of cash has done quite a bit of DD and clearly knew about the CLN arrangement. They will have certainly done a lot more research than the posters on here.

The reason is the shortage of shares. The HNWI who was (and may well still be) willing to pay $11 odd wouldn't be able to own enough of the company unless we all sold our shares. You've seen how fast this rises and falls on low volume. $11 would be a bargain by the time you bought up the current remaining shares.

As soon as a patent is filed it is the sole property of the entity that filed it and can't be copied. It is as protected as a granted patent, so makes no difference. Sure, an approved patent is marlinally better, but for the revenue generating capability of the pending patent in the mean time is still very attractive and lucrative.

Well, if we've been testing on actual live mining rigs at full capacity (3000 ish rigs), we'd have mined actual bitcoin and that would have to be PRN'ed. As we've heard nothing yet, I guess we're still testing the threory on one or two rigs. So, how long is a piece of string...

Jez, yes they will need a lot of rigs to test the real world functionality. I don't know how ARB are fixed, but they did have a lot of spare unused rigs that they could probably loan out in exchange for mined bitcoin or some such deal to cover costs.

To hit the 10 min target your average miner needs circa 3000 mining rigs. To test the theory on 1 rig takes circa 1 month. So even with a 160% improvement, QBT will never mine a bitcoin faster than a current mining company. The only way they can sell it to prospective customers is by demonstrating the theoretical difference between existing and enhanced (QBT) mining.

Now, hopefully Jez, you can better understand why QBT are not mining live. It serves no purpose. Imagine the dilution here to buy 3000 rigs and the associated electricity bill.

Suthy - I'd say Microrosoft are bigger than Uber, they've accepted Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin etc for the last 9 years. Starbucks, PayPal, Dell are others and no small concerns.

They are a bit late catching on. BTC has been widely accepted for payment for over 10 years. Here is one example:

I've been invested here for about 2 years now, since the share was about 1.28p and in those days it was pretty silent awaiting news. We had a constant ramper come along, Fig Tree Harry, who disapeared one day 🤭

The excuse of, there is nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about a share you're invested in doesn't wash. Imagine a boyfriend or girlfriend who was so ethusiastic... Dumped! Blocked! Maybe the police involved 😂

The constant arguing here has seriously put me off this share, it wreaks of desperation by one or two posters. For me it's always been a speculative share and worth the gamble. But I wouldn't enter a casino full of clowns!
