I think we all get emotional as the game isn’t fair on this share. Constant manipulations, constant walk downs, constant layering. I think we all agree we see THG as being a good company, but the SP is simply too easy to manipulate and there are a lot of financial companies who seem to be doing it for fun and for personal reasons, as they know they could easily ride it back up and make money. I mean come on - how it this worth 80p (and struggling to hold it)!,

yes unfortunately 3 things guaranteed in life: death, taxes and THG will sell in any and all rises (at leats until IR get their arse out the sand)

thanks for the thoughts chaps and ladies -I agree, going private makes a lot of sense.
playing devils advocate (to check assumptions):
- why do we think shorts are increasing if its so obvious that going private is likely?
- free float isnt 10%, in reality its 70%, but 7of course most of it is in II hands and they are not selling (Sofina/ Jupiter/ Softbanks/ Balderton), but do we think 10% or reality more like 30-40% they would need to buy so more likely to need circa 1bn - which is more tough

I agree it has to go private, but i feel hes left it too late.
how would they fund it with PE and debt markets drying up
its all a very very messy situation now

ha ha - well done IR - what they dont get is its not the short sellers (which I agree isnt too high), its how easy it is for the market manipulators (sorry mean makers) to run it up and then totally sell into it circa 5p a day
they need to give them a reason to go long which involves actually updating on the straetgy, as whjat was shared at IPO is absolutely out of date:
1/ softbank - what is happening (this wasnt part of IPO)
2/ separation - what is happening (this wasnt part of IPO)
3/ spinning out beauty - what is happening (this wasnt part of IPO)
4/ new board members - what is happening (this wasnt part of IPO)

etc etc etc

H1 has now closed, but there has been no commercial details shared. Please kindly share the details, and when you intend to update on the SoftBank collaboration and also update on q2 trading.

Today SP performance was farcical

They have to do a q2 trading update this time (guessing it will be third Thursday of July) and / or strategic update

Ortex is crap - it only has the shorts above 0.5% and yes they have increased (it’s on short tracker). The more interesting is those under 0.5% and the banks that have long and short positions
